U can play ezly at 100+fps in most titles at 1440p .. I mean u have a 6800xt. so u can also try 4k at 60+fps in demanding games...

U can use ur pi as dns server using  DNSMasq.... Also if u face any problem u can yt it cuz there are billions of tutorials...

I would suggest you go with either the 2700x or the 3700x depending on whats cheaper. I am saying this because of the price fluctuations.  And please do not buy a RX580 because the new RTX 3000 series are out and are expected to be available by September 17th. Yes she could do that. But i guess that'll get her way above her budget.

She can get 240+fps easily in overwatch and warzone but I dont know about Fortnite because people with a 10900k and an Rtx 2080ti cannot get stable and constant 240 frames. But on the lower end ie laptop that I use is Pushing constant 30fps in that game this season. So what i mean to say is she may or may not get stable 240 fps.

Yea sure It would be a sick and a beautiful machine with hard tubed water cooling and you can also overclock the sh*t out of it.

Anyway for the solution> I recommend watching this video. It helped me solve the same problem on my friends computer. And sorry for deviating from the topic.
 

You can send it back and you may or may not get a better monitor as stahlmann98 says. BUT it is better if u ask for replacement. If u end up with a worse monitor u can replace that again. So basically u can irritate them until they give you a good monitor or you can just screw their customer service rep if  you end up with a worse monitor.

IK.  I have framed my sentence wrongly so it is giving out the wrong meaning..... and i typed computer for cpu in a hurry.  I  was in an online class and my teacher had called me so I had to type fast...
 

ROG PHONE 3. BEYOND DOUBT. BEST for GAMING AND ALSO WORKS FINE FOR OTHER THINGS.  I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE ROG PHONE BECAUSE YOU MAINLY PLAN TO PLAY GAMES. AND ROG PHONE 3'S CAMERA QUALITY IS FINE THOUGH IT IS NOT ON PAR WITH ONEPLUS 8 PRO. Otherwise just buy a phone which has decent hardware and camera. Because moblie  gaming doesnt require best hardware.

For non curved: Acer XF252Q,ASUS VG259QM,LG 27GL83A.
  LG 27GL83A is the best but it is 144hz 1440p and the others are 240 hz.
 
 
For curved; this the best AOC CQ32G1 – 32" Curved Gaming Monitor.
If you are fine with getting a better looking monitor from a not well known brand this is the best.
