Hello there,
I am starting to study in March and am looking for a laptop for that purpose.
Usecase: office tasks, research, coding, etc., light gaming
For more demanding tasks i still have a desktop.
Currently, the ROG Flow X13 2023 without a dGPU seems suitable to me.
Sufficient power,
slim and light,
USB-A port(still not friends with C, A is just more robust),
usable as a tablet and comes with stylus(handwritten notes),
exactly the size of a sheet of paper (A4) like it's meant to be stuffed in a schoolbag,
price<1500€
I've read and watched a few rewievs, but those are mostly for the 2021 or 2022 model. They say it can get a bit toasty under load, and some rubber pieces fall off easy? Has anyone experienced this with the 2023 model? And does it have pass through when running from wall power? How's the keyboard an build quality?
Can anyone recommend this or maybe a similar or even better device I haven't found yet(No Apple)? Did I miss any important question I should ask myself while choosing a device?
Thanks for help
