I bought this PSU second hand and I didn't get all the accessories with it so now I'm writing to bequiet support if they can send me the accessories and they said that I can't get a "MB connector". What exactly does this cable do? Do I need it for day-to-day use? Do I need it for extreme overclocking? It looks like some kind of hdd connector on one side and a 4-pin on the other?

3080 ti doesn't want to mine
akranjc71 replied to akranjc71's topic in Folding@home, Boinc, and Coin Mining
yep, currently have 7x 6900xt, 2x 6800, 1x 6700xt, 1x Radeon VII, 2x Vega 64 (one on air and one on water because a cheap custom loop and a watercooled card was cheaper than an air cooled one lol), 2x Vega 56 and 5x 3080ti -

I got them with the mining rig that didn't sell for 2 months on the Slovenian "craigslist" kind of website -
3080 ti doesn't want to mine

I have 1800W PSU and it crashes even if I only run this GPU. I bought them because I was promised 85 MH/s and that's not that bad considering I got the whole rig (5x3080ti, b450 mobo, ryzen 3 1300, 16GB 2666mhz RAM, 1800W PSU) for only 8000€ so that is around 1400€ per card and the resell value is important for me, but I was all AMD before (Vega 56, 64, Radeon VII, 6700xt, 6800, 6900xt) and these were my first Nvidia GPUs and they are such a pain in the butt that I'm never buying them again, especially for mining. What cards would you recommend for ROI and resell value? -
I have 5 MSI GeForce 3080 Ti VENTUS 3X cards in one rig and 4 of them mine fine, but one causes a BSOD if I try mining anything. Sometimes it would say PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA, other times it would say MEMORY MANAGEMENT. I already replaced RAM because the stick was dead and it blue screens immediately after I click "start mining". I tried a different riser, I tried reinstalling NiceHash, I tried DDUing the driver and reinstalling it (511.79), I even tried reinstalling Windows (10 Pro, 21H1), but nothing worked. Should I try to reflash the BIOS if it corrupted itself? Everything in GPU-Z looks fine, identical to other cards. I'm running -100 core, +1900 mem, 100% power. Do you have any suggestions as of what's wrong with it? I bought it used along with all the other cards and the rig and it was used for mining in linux so I know it was working fine. Also should I try a mining driver? I'm too scared to play with mining BIOSes but I wouldn't mind trying a different driver.

Hello, I want to make that cool RGB effect when it turns the color of your screen. Does a software that can do that with the light strips connected to the mobo exist? Thanks in advance
-
ohh okay so I did that and it spitted out 65535+ errors. Thank you, I'm returning my RAM and getting a new one

I'm scared to just try and see if it works... I could brick a mobo here. Also which bios do you recommend trying first? Do I just go for the latest version without any warnings? That is P1.50.

I can't, the system is too unstable and it shuts down too quick. I only have a single 16GB stick in it so that's the only stich that could've failed

Celeron g1840, 4GB 1333MHz value RAM, H81 Pro BTC (P2.30), 6x XFX 6900 XT Merc 319, 1700W Enermax Platimax, 120GB Kingston UV400

no, this is a different PC

So I have an issue with my PC where I use my GPU to mine in the background with NiceHash just like Linus and if I'd start the miner, the PC would crash after couple of minutes. I tried various GPU settings and it crashes even with stock settings. It was fine before, but a couple of days ago it started doing this. If I don't try mining the PC doesn't just shut down on its own and restart. I should also mention that I am using a 6900xt Merc 319. My usual mining settings are: - GPU: 1200 to 1300 MHz at 850mV - MEM: 2100MHz at fast timings - fan: 50% locked - power limit: 100% (since the low voltage gets the card down to 140W)

So my mobo (ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4) is giving me BSODs even when installing windows. Sometimes it's a Memory Management error, most time a DPC Watchdog Violation error. I'm running a Ryzen 3 1200 on a B450 mobo. Should I downgrade my BIOS? I'm currently running the BIOS that the board came with, P4.20. On the support page it says that everything above P3.40 isn't recommended for Zen and Zen+ CPUs. I should also mention that my BIOS settings are stock and they were working for a while, but after a week it decided to crap itself and started bluescreening all over the place. Thank you for your replies

Hi, so I want to plug multiple GPUs in my B450 mobo but then it wouldn't see the boot drive, which is a SATA SSD. I tried disabling the CSM module and it would recognise it in bios, but not as boot drive, it would only load the security profile. So the summary is: Does anybody have a recommendation what to do? Should I just buy a cheap NVMe drive? I don't need the loading speeds since this system won't be used. Or should I buy a NVMe to SATA adapter? That would probably be cheaper...

oh okay, thank you

Does a single thunderbolt 3 not bottleneck a 6900 xt?
-
Hi, I'm searching for a GPU enclosure with two Thunderbolt 3 ports because I wanna run a 6900 xt on my laptop with as little bottleneck as possible. Yes, I know that my biggest bottleneck is the i7–6700HQ but I want to use it for workstation use and don't need as much of CPU power.

Hello, I'm buying coolant for my GPU loop with mixed metals and I'm not sure which coolant to get. I'm deciding between EKWB EK-CryoFuel Navy Blue (Premix 1000 ml) and Corsair XL5 Red. Which one is better? Thank you

I'm building a PC for occasional office use, just to download and update drivers from time to time. I'm doing it with a 5700G so I don't need space for a GPU. I was thinking about something that looks like a NUC or something really small, way smaller than NR200. Any recommendations?

I solved the long boot issue by resetting the network adapter in settings, so now the only issue is non working ethernet. -
Ethernet not working after installing a new GPU

I removed the device, then uninstalled the driver with Realtek setup, then installed it with the same setup. -
I decided to upgrade from the Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6800 to Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6900 XT SE. The GPU runs fine, I DDU'd the driver and it runs perfectly, it's just that my ethernet doesn't work. The network adapter shows up in device manager but in Windows settings it says not operational when I go to check network hardware properties. Another thing that's happening is the PC takes a couple of minutes to boot, it just sits on ASRock logo spinning the wheel. Before it took around 5-10 seconds to boot. I have an ASRock B550m Steel Legend running 5800x with 32GB of Trident Z Neo 3600MHz CL18.

So I tried to play fortnite with a controller on my Zenfone 8 and the right stick isn't working. I figured out that the x and y axis for the right stick are mapped to the LT and RT trigger. I tried downloading a layout file but I can't find one. Is there any workaround for this?
