I have two places I can put my router: in our furnace room which is a small room that has our water softener, water heater, and our furnace OR by the TV in our living room which is a larger, more open room. Would one place be better over the other because I know both are not ideal.

So I just got a new PC, set it up with my Microsoft account but I want to change which account my PC uses but I can only remove the second account that I added to it, what do I do? Also, can i turn off the option to sign in with a pass key or my password?

So I got this new prebuilt PC but when I restart into the bios, I can’t find where to enable XMP (picture of my bios attached). Also, my mouse keeps stuttering and I don’t know what’s going on with it (video attached below). IMG_0233.MOV

Where would I go to change fan curves and how do I check that my drivers are initialized?

Do I check and change what speed the ram is running in the bios too? Sorry I misread that as two different things. Thanks for the suggestion

I just ordered a new pre-built PC (found here) which is mainly a family but I will use it for some light gaming (games like Minecraft, rocket league, possibly rainbow six) and I was wondering is there anything I should do when it arrives? I already bought 16GB of ram since the 8 it will come with isn’t what I wanted.

Fixed it! I ended up fixing it by restoring my computer to a previous version of Windows. Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Get Starter (under the “Go back to the previous version of Windows 10)

Uh a lot of stuff, I’m using my phone since I am unable to post on my PC, is there a specific section you want me to take a photo of and send? Something that I do see though that may have something to do with it is IP routing is not enabled.

I have the issue of my WiFi not having a valid IP configuration and I’ve tried every thing to fix it that I have searched up, are there any non-common things that could fix it? It worked on August 6th but I left on a trip while the computer updated and didn’t come back until the 8th and wasn’t working when I came back. I have tried the following and a few other options: - run the command prompt (refresh, renew ip config) - network reset - uninstalling the wireless network adapter - changing the ipv4 automatic ip to a manual where I entered one found on a website that included steps to fixing this issue

Last question, I think. So I know that SSD is better than HDD in terms of speed so what would I want to put on the SSD and what should I put on the HDD? Is there a video that recommends this stuff?
