It is a clean install. The NVME SSD is new and that is what I installed windows on.

I changed everything except storage and GPU when my old Intel i5 2400 processor crashed. Couldn't immediately afford the GPU, so kept it to be changed on a later day. Have had this problem since I had this new config. Will give it a shot and see if it helps!

Hello, I recently upgraded parts of my PC and have been having issues running Windows 10 since then. At a rather random interval, the whole screen freezes for a few seconds then goes blank. If a video was playing, the audio continues for a little bit and then the whole system is unresponsive and I have to force reboot by pressing the reset button or long-pressing the power button to turn off. I thought it might be a hardware issue and installed Solus OS to ran parallel and it runs like a dream. Unfortunately, my work flow requires windows and I cannot completely ditch the OS quite yet. I tried reinstalling display drivers but AMD only has an executable from which to run an installer but not drivers that can be installed using the Windows' built in device manager. My specs are as follows: Windows 10 Home AMD 3300X on an ASUS Tuf Gaming X570 (non-wifi) motherboard MSI Twin Frozr 7870 2GB 2X8 GB Corsair Vengeance PRO DDR4 3600 MHz RAM (Mobo supports up to 3200 MHz without overclock and my guess is that the RAM is running at an underclock right now) WD Blue 1TB PCIe Gen 3 NVME SSD (Boot/Windows drive) 250GB Samsung 850 Evo SSD (file storage) 120GB OCZ Agility SSD (Solus OS) 2 TB Seagate 7200RPM HDD Asus ROG 550W PSU ASUS PA236 23" Monitor connected by DVI Any help is appreciated! Hello, I recently upgraded my PC and put together an AMD 3300X on an ASUS X570-Plus TUF Gaming Mobo with onboard RealTek GbE among other parts. Since then, I have noticed a weird occurrence with regard to my internet on Windows 10 (Home, 64-bit). Happens more frequently from being "woken up" from sleep mode but also happens on a fresh boot, but when I login, my computer refuses to connect to the internet. After I play around with changing my Network from 'Private' to 'Public' and back to 'Private', it seems to reconnect to the internet. Other times, it only works when I disable and enable the adapter under Windows settings and on the odd occasion, I have ended up having to reboot the PC entirely before it decides to work. During all of this, I am able to continue using the internet on my phone and tablet and my roommate's laptop. I thought it might be a problem with Windows Firewall and tried to disable it, but it still had the same issue. Can anyone suggest a long term solution please? Thanks, Prambler.

Hello, New to the forums here... Joined to get some troubleshooting help. I have a fairly old PC I built and added components to over the years. A couple days ago while I was watching a video on the PC and it suddenly just went off. Tried powering back on and it didn’t budge. Fast forward to today, I did some long overdue dusting and cleaning of the PC and took most of it apart except for Processor (didn’t have any thermal paste lying around so didn’t want to take the stock intel CPU cooler off) and the RAM. Put it all back together and tried to see if it would post, it turns on for one second and then turns off again. Seems like a bit of an improvement considering it wouldn’t even turn on two days back. Any thoughts? My PC: Intel DH67GD motherboard Intel i5-2400 processor Corsair Vengeance 2X 4GB DDR3 RAM sticks (not from a kit but same numbers and placed in slots 2 and 4 from the proccy) MSI Twin Frozr 7870 GPU (2GB) Corsair 650W PSU Samsung 250 GB SSD (Primary) OCZ 120 GB SSD WD Green 1TB HDD Some other paraphernalia like a DVD-RW and a fan controller, etc. I’ve tried removing the GPU and both RAM sticks and it still doesn’t start for more than one second....
