I recently bought a Galaxy Tab S8+, and I'm not too fond of the white cable it came with. I started looking into cables, and noticed that TB4 is backwards compatible with my USB-C 3.1 port on my motherboard for my PC, and since I use the tablet for drawing I figured it would be a good idea to look into a high quality cable for connecting to my PC. However, I also noticed that the pricing on TB4 cables is really high, and I'm unsure which manufactureres I should buy from. Is TB4 worth the extra cost, and who should I buy it from? If not, then what alternatives should I look into?

Hey all! I'm looking to make a "Vault" of sorts for my games, just a peripheral storage system that I can plug into any new PC and use as a source for all of my games. What would be the best way to go about this? I haven't set up a system before, and I'm not looking for anything fancy, maybe just an SSD Hub or something like that. Shoot me some ideas!

I'm in the US right now, yes. Currently using Verizion, but I'm thinking about switching over to Ting or Cricket since I don't use my phone too much. As for screen sizes, I just prefer something that fits better in the hands, so taller phones (which come along with the larger aspect ratio) just don't feel right in my hands. Oh! Sorry about missing the issues with my phone. The Droid MAXX is currently extremely out of date, and doesn't get any more firmware updates. This means that I can't use the latest applications on my phone as they require newer versions of Android.

I'm slightly out of the loop on Xiaomi, but reading up on it, there are a few concerns on security. Is that an issue nowadays? Is it only a problem with their software?

Any particular models you can recommend? I'm still fairly new to the phone market.

Hello all! I literally just made this account to post on here in the hopes of getting some assistance with this, because I'm having a lot of trouble doing research on phones. I'm not really a big user of my phone right now, mostly just using it to take some pictures every once in a while, and mostly text messages with a few phone calls a year. So I'm just going to put a check-list of the features that I'd like to see on the phone, as I don't really know what else to put! Any questions I'll happily answer, and any assistance is greatly appreciated! -16:9 screen ratio (not super important, honestly, just a preference) -No notch or hole-punch! I can't stand 'em! -Headphone jack (my car is fairly old as well, still use a headphone jack to plug in) -THICC boi. I use an otterbox on my phone that makes it about 1-1.5cm thick, and gives it a nice grip in my hands. -Priced under/around USD$400 -Not super tall. I don't really like the new fablet phones, I like one that fits nicely in the hand and gives me access to the whole screen with my thumb. -Fairly decent camera with the option for a quick-open feature (the MAXX lets me just twist the phone to open the camera). And I'm not talkin' anything major, just somethin' that at least matches the 10MP on my MAXX. -Android phone, for sure. Not really big on Apple products. That's about all I can think of for now.
