Playing online on the same network.

That's exactly what we plan to do, play online/LAN games in the same room. I want to know if my internet connection can handle 5-6 people playing online games at the same time.
-
My friends and I want to have a LAN party. We plan to play games like CS:GO comp, Guns of Icarus, etc. What I want to know is if 36 Mbps down and 6 Mbps up enough to play these games. There is going to be 5-6 people/computers at the LAN party.

Possible to remove corrosion
shoogie107 replied to shoogie107's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
I had a scotch brite on hand and was unable to remove the copper deposits. Looks like I have to buy a replacement water block . Along with the water block I plan to buy new fluid to prevent issues in the future. Two more questions. 1. Would the copper sulfate affect other metals besides nickel(copper, brass, etc.)? I'm asking this because I have two full copper alphacool radiators and you can't exactly just open up radiators to inspect them. I opened up my copper cpu water block and all I saw was a bit of black tarnishing. From what I saw in the cpu waterblock, I'm assuming the radiators would look the same so I do not have to replace them. 2. Would the copper sulfate affect other components(tubing)? Would I be able to just replace the gpu waterblock and reuse everything else? I would assume so. Just do a really good job of cleaning everything to remove all traces of copper sulfate. -

My build is in the NZXT H440. I have a 360(30mm) and a 240(30mm). I have my cpu and a single gpu in the loop.I'm not sure about reservoir capacity, but this is the one I bought: http://www.performance-pcs.com/ek-xres-100-ddc-3-2-pwm-incl-pump.html -

I did not measure out the distilled water. I just filled my loop and added 2 drops of the copper sulfate. Could too much copper sulfate be the reason for the corrosion? -
Possible to remove corrosion

I added a few drops of this:http://www.frozencpu.com/products/11744/ex-liq-154/IandH_Dead-Water_Copper_Sulfate_Biocidal_PC_Coolant_Additive_-_15_mL.html?tl=g30c103s186 Also, I did some further investigating and found corrosion in my EK cpu waterblock, but it was no where near as bad as my GPU waterblock. -
I built my first watercooled system back in December and it has been together since then. From the videos I watched, I thought all I needed for coolant was distilled water and a biocide. I had to do some maintenance and noticed that the end plugs on my EK 780 classified waterblock had some discoloring. After discovering this, I decided to open up the waterblock to further investigate this discoloring. This is what I found: I have only opened up the GPU waterblock. I don't know if there is any corrosion in the CPU waterblock or my radiators. Is there anyway to remove the corrosion or am I SOL.

I want to overvolt my 780 classified by flashing an unlocked bios. But my problem is I can't seem to find an unlocked bios. Can anyone link me to a download?

I am planning my first water cooling loop in a NZXT H440. I know the basics of water cooling from a few YouTube videos that I've watched. 2 questions... 1. Will a 45mm thick 360 radiator be enough to cool a cpu and gpu? (cool temps= 40-50c) 2. Will a 45mm think radiator fit in the front of the H440? (If not, will a 30mm thick rad be enough) Radiators: 1st option(45mm): http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14918/ex-rad-336/Alphacool_NexXxoS_XT45_Full_Copper_Triple_120mm_Radiator.html?tl=g30c95s161 2nd option(30mm): http://www.frozencpu.com/products/15665/ex-rad-374/Alphacool_NexXxoS_ST30_Full_Copper_Slim_Profile_Triple_120mm_Radiator.html?tl=g30c95s161 The cpu is a 4670k and the gpu is an EVGA 780 classified. (planning to overclock both) I don't know if this will interfere with the radiator, but I have a hard drive mounted in the bottom of the case. Also, I plan on mounting the radiator in a push config. Thx in advance.

As the title says, all the games that I play crash after playing for a bit. The game exits to the desktop without warning. No freezing or error messages appear. The game just closes.

I am thinking of liquid cooling my PC. But I am unsure of how to do maintenance on a custom loop? Should I just replace the liquid every 6-12 months (just drain the system and refill) or is there more to it. To add, the loop I am considering would have a 360 rad and a 240 cooling a graphics card and CPU. I'm curious, does the amount of rads and blocks in the loop affect the amount of maintenance?
