To be fair Guy 6 could be right. About a year ago one of my friends lost his 9800gt due to a dead fan allowing the GPu to overheat and crater. His screen looked like this when his pc crashed.

No it doesn't. It was opt-in in Windows XP and now it's on by default and you can't turn it off.
Why do people keep repeating that misinformation about it being in all versions of Windows since XP? It's just flat out wrong.

You never saw any complaints about Google mining data? I see that all the time.
I have seen Google get hate for many many years now, and they deserve most of it. Now that Microsoft are moving in the same direction at a worrying phase I think they both deserve the same shit.

I wouldn't trust Apple but they seem to care the most about privacy. Being the best out of those 3 though is nothing to be proud of. It's like being proud that you won a race against 2 kids in wheelchairs...

As for Microsoft, back in 2011 they were caught ignoring privacy settings in Windows Phone and each time you took a photo Microsoft collected the time, device ID and your GPS coordinates. With all the recent crap going on with Windows I think it's fair to say they are as bad as Google when it comes to protecting their users' privacy. They want as much info about you as possible, and aren't afraid to use scummy underhand tactics like giving you false settings to get it. Setting that makes you think you got things disabled but they are not actually fully disabled.

Speaking of Apple and privacy, Apple might actually be fined for not adding backdoors in their products. Credit where credit's due, that's a really great move by Apple and I hope they stick to their decision.

I find it funny how people complain about MS allegedly mining your data when exactly that is the reason Android is free. You pay in data and the entire purpose of Android basically is to mine your data. That is not the case on iOS, and I'm also sure that Windows 10 was not made for this purpose alone. Therefore I find it funny that people complain about Cortana listening when I never saw a complaint about this regarding Google Now.

Yeah they should stick to one name. Don't worry though, they will probably rename it OneMusic next year.

Ehhh... If a product is failing then maybe you should look into why and then improve it, instead of just rebranding it a billion times. You don't just change the name of your product to whatever is popular at the moment and then hope your product becomes popular too.

It's like Microsoft put 0 thought into it and the whole thing is a mess. Groove Music doesn't make me think "oh that's a Microsoft product" so if their goal is to have consistency then they missed their goal by a very long shot. I mean really, why not OneMusic to go with OneDrive and whatever One products they got right now? That would make the whole "add music to OneDrive and stream it through Groove Music" more obvious as well.

It's a good thing Microsoft doesn't seem to have many customers for their music streaming, because rebrandings are very confusing to your average Joe. Hell even simple things like changing the icon can cause confusion (whole reason they name their new browser Microsoft Edge, to keep the E) so imagine how much confusion changing name and icon to something completely different will be.

I think the new name is stupid, although Xbox Music was kind of stupid too so I don't know which one is worst. At least with Xbox music you knew it was something from Microsoft. It had some brand recognition. Now it sounds like some third party GrooveShark app or something. To make things worse, not even Microsoft seems to know what it's called. Is it Groove or Groove Music? People from their marketing department says it's just "Groove", not "Groove Music". Their blog also just says "Groove" and not "Groove Music".
I don't think it will help boost interest in their music streaming, unless they also do some extra marketing and get quite a bit of press. But a quick Google search shows that this isn't being covered that much.

Insiders will never be happy. The problem is that the software complexity and size of Windows is extremely difficult to have everything polished to perfection. What Microsoft seeks answers on questions like: is the OS stable? does it run perfectly fine on systems and that things show up when they should. And not really about: transparency on title bar, Windows Vista icons still present, etc. And bugs that only affect a small fraction of users which can be fixed via Windows Updates after the OS is released. As a software developer myself, I can assure you, you are never done with a software, you can always do more, add more. The problem, and this is always a big problem in the industry: where do you draw the line?

It baffles my mind that a keyboard with cheap chinese keyswitches is being sold for almost twice the price as the ones with Cherry MX keyswitches, why the heck do people buy this inferior garbage? Also, as a another user mentioned you failed to discuss the overall durability and build quality, which is something you always went on about way back when you did unboxings. Granted, for one the Razer unboxings you did claim it had no flex, which was directly followed by you trying (and succeeding) at flexing it far more than any mechanical keyboard should.

Huge issue with this review. Maybe the switches are good, maybe they're better for gaming than Cherry MX switches, but how's the build quality? Is there much flex to the deck? And how are the keycaps, are they cheap? Or are they good quality? There's plenty of other things to review when it comes to a keyboard other than just switches. From what the keyboard looks like. It looks, honestly, rather cheap quality. I bet it has a large amount of flex and doesn't have a metal backplate like the majority of mechanical keyboards.

I'll be sticking with my Filco, which is a tank of a keyboard. Something you mentioned in your unboxing.

Power Supply I'm not too fussed about. The benefit of a PC from someone like HP is that every single component is under warranty from HP, so if your PSU fries your motherboard, processor and graphics card HP are obliged to replace all of it, not just the component that actually caused it.

And the cooling performance looks OK. The case's ventilation seems to be following the same pattern as the Define R5 and the NZXT H440, and the CPU is liquid cooled

Except a cursory glance at the OP would reveal much of that to not be the case.

You must be new to OEMs in this tier. This price is fantastic.

I'm going to be frank here: this forum as a collective needs to get it through its skull that some PCs are not meant for gaming primarily. I know, the fucking horror, but there are reasons you'd want a PC with an i7 and 16GB vram with the option of rudimentary gaming.

Do you have a source for this? I cannot see the rebranded card's tier going up. The 370X should at least out-perform a 270X.

I recommend you actually look at the OP instead of just looking at the title and thinking you know something. Look at the case's ventilation. Read the specs: it's liquid cooled.

4690k and GTX 980. Makes sense to me.

Actually that's just flat out wrong, and I'll tell you why. Balance for its own sake doesn't exist. No game is going to use more than about 4GB RAM. Anything more than 8GB is, in theory, pointless, regardless of what other specs you have. The reason you'd want more is so you can do more in the background and not micromanage which programs are running at any one time -- this is why I upgraded to 16GB. I don't need it for gaming and adding more ram does not increase gaming performance. A 980 Ti will not "see" 32GB of RAM as any less extreme than a 980, or a GT 130 for all the difference it makes.

Actually I think anyone, for example, rendering videos probably would benefit from an i7 and 32GB vram. But you know, LTT: PCs don't do anything other than game, everyone knows that.

Oh the GTX 980, what a pile of shit... what are you talking about?

You must live in a nice area or neighbourhood then. I personally know someone who moved into an apartment and the next day had nearly entire place cleaned out, sparing furniture, while he was gone for a short time.

No UAC is not like a $50/month subscription alarm system. UAC doesn't cost money. It goes off when you don't want it to? An executable, from god knows where, making system level changes is not a time that you want to be prompted to confirm such an action?

It was able to make that system level change because the user gave it system level access when it said YES to the UAC prompt. This is a prime example of why you should have UAC on in the first place. Because it requires user consent to make such a change.

Turning UAC off is saying "I allow any executable, from any origin to make any change on my system without any prompt or notification." If you can't see how that is naive and ignorant then I have nothing left to say here.
