  1. I'm currently working on a PC project. I got the processor and RAM into the motherboard no problem, but then when I pugged in the power supply in a test bench setup and turn the computer on, nothing happens. I was able to confirm that the power supply works, but when it is connected to the motherboard... nothing. I've built a few PCs before, and have never experienced this problem. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Here are the parts I'm using: 8GB DDR4 RAM Intel i3 9100f 9th generation processor ASUS Prime H310I-Plus R2.0 motherboard Rosewill HIVE 550S Power Supply Just to reiterate, I'm by no means an expert, but I have had some experience building computers. So I'm not a total noob. Any help or advice is welcome, thanks!
  2. Ok, thanks. We were planning on reusing the standoffs in the original case, but the screws that the standoffs used are too long to support the motherboard, is there an easy way to find shorter screws that would also be compatible with the standoffs, or is there a place where you can order standoff/screw bundles?
  3. Hello everyone, my grandfather and I are doing a project similar to LinusTechTips HackPro build, which we are planning on using to build a NAS server. We are currently in the process of building the computer, but are running into some problems. We are trying to mount the motherboard to the case, but the standoffs that the PowerMac used are not going to work with our motherboard, and we can't find any other options online. How did you guys do it with the HackPro, and are there any standoffs you guys would personally recommend. Thanks!
