  1. Hey do you think my 590 could Be damaged at all?
  2. Okay gotcha mate, so it’s more than likely a psu issue. I’ll have to buy one and get a decent one This time considering what’s happened. Thanks for your help friend
  3. I believe this is the one https://www.cclonline.com/product/165161/A-500BR/Power-Supplies/Ace-BR-Black-500W-Power-Supply/PSU0757/ but mine has a 6 pin too built in so perhaps slightly different model but same brand. I’m sorry for the long response. iPhone 5s on 3G isn’t the fastest to browse web on nowadays
  4. Yeah, I’ve plugged it in an out repeatedly on both ends. The outlet works, it’s just the pc
  5. It doesn’t turn on my friend, fans don’t spin at all, the only thing I get out of it is the red led on my case power button and my headphones lighting up
  6. Hi My my specs are i5 4440 8gb ram a couple years old 500w psu i don’t remeber the brand the motherboard Is oem im not sure what else to list that is relevant. Please ask for anything you need Recently I began to pverclock my igpu just because and it was all going well and I found a stable clock. It pulled more wattage f course but it was fine. I undervolted my cpu. about a week ago I bought the xfx rx 590 and it came today and I put it in my pc with a 6 pin and a 2 molex to 8pin adapter. It booted and kind of worked. When I went into overwatch, the main menu would be fine but when I go into options my pc would hard shut down. This happened a few times even when I tried turning off the auto oc thing then I tried jump force which worked welll at ultra but after a while of playing and in a match my pc turned off again for like the fourth time. This time it wouldn’t turn back on. The power led on the case is red indicating off and my headphones leds are on when plugged into it too. Sometimes if I unplug the pc for a little bit then plug it in and power it on I can get it to flash blue for a split second indicating power on but it doesn’t stay nor does any actual booting of it happen. I have removed the 590 and nothing has changed. I originally thought it was a 600w psu because it was so long ago I got it that I forgot it was less and less of the minimum recommended 550w. I checked before (after the final shutdown) and it was 500w indeed so less than recommended. the temps on the gpu was only ever around 83 tops maybe and the cpu less than 75. could it be that the repeated attempt at wanting to pull more power than the psu could provide have killed it? Or the me overclocking the igpu then the now 590 (these two increasing power draw) have been too much for it? I’m also aware of the cpu bottleneck but it’s okay
