  1. Why is this marked as solved? I still have not seen pozi bits for sale. Only a bunch of new color ways.
  2. I bought a pocket sized PB 6510 R-30 for 27€ a little while back. It has been great. Especially great value. The place I bought it from has a lot of pb swiss on clearance and I bought about 30 different pb swiss drivers for home and work. They seemed like they had been sitting in a warehouse for a long time (little bit of dust and surface rust on a few) looking at the other products they carry its the only high end brand on the site so their usual customers probably didn't go for them and they finally just want to get rid of them. I just checked and they still have a few things in stock. https://aurymat.com/produto/chave-pontas-com-roquete-pb-6510-r-30-swisstools/
  3. I already use a wera bitsafe 61 which you can get empty and is the best storage I have found for lage amounts of bits. It would be a good option in the mean time. Wera bit-safe 61 empty on Amazon. Oh and we definitely need pz 2 at least that's how I got here. Needed to make sure it was on their radar.
  4. As a user of a PB Swiss Insider Pro the ltt screwdriver looks like a bit of an improvement for 20$ less. I use mine on camera gear and pc hardware so I get where they are coming from in terms of use case. A smooth comfortable racheting screwdriver with bits that fit very well is a must for not stripping out, crossthreading or overtightening small screws in specialized aluminum parts. If I wanted to save money though I would prioritize very high quality bits and save on the driver, but I aprreciate good ergonomics. Otherwise for most other things I will just use an impact.
  5. Yesterday I started seeing my subscription feed fill up with a lot of channels I had not seen in a while. As far as I can tell YouTube has finally fixed it and all the videos posted by the channels I follow are showing up. Has anyone else seen this change? I have not seen mention of it anywhere yet, but that would be a big change to the algorithm.
  6. I have the exact same interface and I am going to replace it with something with a USB connection. I'm tired of the chain of dongles it has been taking to make it work. I have been using it with thunderbolt 2 for the past 6 years. I think it is going to be hard to get rid of though even if I give it away.
  7. Yeah I've got a use case that could benefit from a really cheap SDC that would be a chance to try them out. I don't usually even consider condensers under 200 but Oktava has changed my mind a bit. This is a whole other kind of cheap though.
  8. Have you tried an older SM81 for comparison with the P4 that's always been my go to on harsher instruments and strings. Mine sound very warm compared to every other SDC I've used.
  9. Interesting I didn't realize that about dual capsule figure 8. I knew that the physics of a ribbon keep it from responding much to air coming in from the side but I figured a switchable figure 8 would just sound like 2 cardioid or hypercardiod mics back to back. I suppose there is plenty of opportunity for phase rejection of some kind to achieve that sort of response though.
  10. I live in spain too and velour or sheepskin are the way to go here. I can wear either one all day comfortably. AKG has a great lineup of open back options. I have the 712 pro and they have been great. I also use m50 with sheepskin earpads for closed back. I have tried velour on closed back but they tend to change the sound a lot. Which in the case of my Sonys made them less harsh so I have one pair for listening to music that have velour and one for audio work with sheep skin so that I can hear all the noise problems in the audio.
  11. An other great advantage is the fabulous off axis rejection.
  12. I second the k712 as long as you have the space around your head. They are bulky so may not work well in a hammock for instance. They are however very light and comfortable and sound amazing. Great sound stage which is nice for music but even better for gaming. I personally use them mostly for gaming and listening to music at my desk at home. They also have decent frequency response at low volumes in case you need to turn it down to keep an ear out for something. The only other downside I've run into is the long ridged plug from the cord coming down can bump my shoulder if I move certain ways. If you switch directions and decide on closed back I have really enjoyed my AT M50s with aftermarket Brainwaves sheepskin and memory foam ear cups. That combination fixes the sweaty stiffness of the stock ear cups for a really comfortable and great sounding setup.
  13. If the card you are looking at has Bluetooth check to make sure you have a free USB header.
  14. I wish black magic would release a media player designed for quickly sifting through prores and and raw formats. They have the engines in davinci already and they play smoothly there.
  15. You may have choppy playback with 4k files unless you change the playback engine in the advanced settings. I can't remember which I am using with my Nvidia GPU (I'm not at work) but it wouldn't take long try them all about and pick the one that works the best.
