    Its from a mende 20n and i cant find the value of the capacitor if anyone can help ot would be nice. Its from around 1931 .

    I broke one of the ends on this resistor there are wires inside of the resistor that are ripped. There are no wires connected to the terminal outside of it. Is it necessary to repair ir will it work fine.

    i am going to post a reply her bc i figured it out for whatever reason it is measrd in pf so it is a 500pf 2500pf and 1000pf

    i did not test before recapp as it has paper capacitors in it and did not want anythung shorting out. also i believe i am havign issues with vertical but there arent any controls for it.

    I get sound but the video is garbage has been recapped and tubes test good.

    ill try this but i did end up finding an inductor at 600 microhenery can i use this?

    problem with that is that i dont have the wire. but i am going through some other late 90s tvs i own to find an inductor of a closer value.

    i have a philco 51-pt1207 tv that i have been restoring and found an inductor that some mice have chewed. its value in the schematic is 16ohm resistance and 600 microhenery of inductance. it is listed in the schematic as peaking. if someone can tell me what to do about it that would be great.

    i have an antique radio i am restoring that has a bunch of 0.05uf capacitos in it. i am wondering if i can substitute 0.068 uf capacitors in place of the 0.05.

    The radio is a motorola 51a. And the tube had a thin a thin wire soldered between pibs 2 and 3.

    I took the tube put of an old radio and found pins 2 and 3 shorted together with a thin piece of wire but without it they have no connevtion so i tried with a good 35z5 and pins showed a short between them. Is it ok to use this tube?
