  1. I forgot to add, its on a 400w power supply.
  2. I have built a system to do moderate 1080p gaming for my kid, and I am all out of ideas on getting it running right short of using dedicated graphics. I do not want to do that as it would kinda defeat the point of the APU and she isn't playing anything that needs that much gpu power. So, im running a Ryzen 5 3400G, on an asrock B450M-HDV R4.0, 16Gig teamgroup 3000mhz DDR4 as as two 8g sticks in ddr config, a 500gb ssd and 1tb hdd. I am using a coolermaster tx3 92mm air cooler on the apu. It keeps freezing when running games, which are sims 3, sims 4, and minecraft so far. It passes cinebench, furmark, prime95, and heaven without crashing. When it does freeze up it will report an error of "thread stuck in device driver". All my digging points to a device driver issue that seems to affect the 3400G vega 11 and other amd/radeon graphic cards. So far i have tried -clean install -bios update -rolling back video drivers -running drivers that came w the mb -Newest drivers -optional newest drivers -not installing amd video drivers and using the windows drivers -running the ram as a single stick -ram at 2400 -ram at 3000 Each time i changed drivers tried both ddr and the amd uninstall app, with all interations of the drivers with no changes in performance. So, if anybody has any ideas on what is going on here please let me know.
