Why thank you! I guess that is all for now. Have a nice day.

Thank you I have corrected the link. This ram you linked is meant for AMD CPUs I guess? The original ram said Intel XMP, what does this mean? Also, would it be worth spending an extra $30 to get Ryzen 5 7600x? Lastly, is this ram linked above compatible with the motherboard linked above? It says X670 chipsets.

It's an RX 6600 XT with a small clock boost. For the same price, you can get a 6700 XT, making that an absolutely terrible purchasing decision.

BlazerBuddy got a reaction from da na in Any reason why this Gigabyte 6600 Eagle is such low priced compared to the other 6600s?
All storers seem to do that, the other 6600 prices also say they are "technically" on sale.

Thinner cooler, probably the cheaper end of components. Probably designed to last around 3 years before having issues after warranty.

The Corsair one is better, but the EVGA isn't bad either. They are decent as long as you don't use something too power hungry.

BlazerBuddy reacted to emosun in Which power supply should I get for my 3060?
well the 3060 isn't going to return to "normal" as far as price is concerned for a long time so check the prices of power supplies in the future as they will have changed by then.

BlazerBuddy reacted to GorujoCY in How hot and how much voltage should my 1660 super have for a stable overclock?
tune it down to stock, i would recommend you just put power limit and temprature limit to the max if you can
then use benchmarks like unigine heaven or any really itensive game (idk vrchat in windowed mode? i guess so?) and adjust memory and core clocks and monitor your temperature as you go to see where would it be safe... Imo this is just much safer than bumping mV to the gpu

The Kraken X73 seems better when using the X72 and EVGA CLC 280 as a reference for comparison.

Just looking over it, I would say the Kraken would be better just looking at raw stats. It seems to have higher air throughput and static water pressure. Other than that though, I wouldn't know. I doubt the difference would be too big.

The psu is excellent and more than enough capacity. .

You might want to rethink the cpu cooler choice. It is an excellent cooler, however it is not aura sync compatible. As a result it won't be possible to sync all the lighting.

No, a 9400F isn't a justifiable upgrade over a 9100F. I would try to find a 9900T if you have an H310 motherboard, and maybe a used 9700/9700k if you have something better.

A GTX 1060 might actually be slower than an RX 570 now.

We've got new computing technology on the horizon, look at quantum. Do you think quantum can manage to develop and shrink into mobile-only relevance in 25 years? What about if we discover yet another method of computation that required a new technology?

BlazerBuddy reacted to CommanderAlex in Thermal paste replacement safe?
Unless you want a overheating graphics card before failure, it is most definitely safe. Be careful of the any thermal paste that spills over on the edges as there are capacitors/SMD that are located around the edge of the GPU die on its substrate. Just a pea size amount of a thin spread of quality thermal paste will be good.

BlazerBuddy reacted to CommanderAlex in Thermal paste replacement safe?
If you took the cooler off again after repasting, it is recommended to clean and reapply paste so you do not trap any air bubbles between the TIM and IHS/coldplate.
