@Streetguru The prices im seeing on those arent bad so long as they can still function on 144 with an "older gfx"

Currently: I7 DC 4790K, z97 mainboard, 16gb DDR3 ram, 1000WIPS, 1080Founders, 1x1tb ssd, 1x1 500gb ssd, 1x1tb caviar black hdd(backup), watercool loop. looking ot build new system soon which is why i am looking for advice on monitors as i do not know what base platform im going to run. That said i have had issues running both I7's and I5's with amd graphic and vice versa

@birdflyer yeah i know its the gpu, with that said i have, in the past, had issues running amd and nvidia in the same machine.

@Streetguru I haven't found much my CPU hasn't been able to handle since i installed the water cooling on it. Running a DC 4790K stock 4.0 and have not needed to over clock it yet. Yes it is US, do you have a specific model or range of models in mind? @birdflyer Yeah i would love something multi platform as i have not decided yet to stick to Intel on my next build as i know AMD has been rising in the ranks again with there CPU performance. I remember back in the day when AMD was the king.

I got 300 - 500 to spend, would prefer to be closer to the 300 mark, but i wanted y'alls input. limited to 60hz on a benq atm which has served me well for 12ish years.... super confusing market atm lots of prices lots of configs. im currently running a 1080 founders, probably gonna upgrade to a 2080 in the next year so ill need something that will work well with both....
