  1. Yes I only have a 1080p monitor. When playing battlefield 1 I was able to put the resolution scale at 150 % instead of 100% and that seemed to help. I mean the stutters on some games aren’t as bad as when playing battlefield 2042. I also get the occasional stutter on csgo, and also overwatch 2, but it’s rare. I mean would a ryzen 7 5800x fix the problem? And also why are the games not smooth when vsync is off with vsync on and also when my frame are below 130 it’s also not smooth even with vsync and gsync enabled.
  2. When having Msi afterburner open in games such as battlefield 2042, and Star Wars battlefront 2, and Battlefield V. The cpu is at like 70 - 80% while gpu is only at 60%. And I get stutters like fps goes from 144 to 130 and I can see a stutter happen. And when vsync is off it’s not smooth. pc specs ryzen 5 5600x 4060 ti 850w platinum ASUS thor asus b550 f motherboard ripjaws 3600 mhz corsair h100i cooler
  3. So, I have the ryx 4060 to 8gb in my system and still seem to get stutters when playing games. My question is, is there a bottleneck still with my ryzen 5 5600x? Should I keep the rtx 3060 12gb instead of the 4060 ti? And will this improve my stutters I am someone who games on 144hz 1080p and don’t plan on upgrading, I also don’t mind turning some setting down to achieve 144fps. So, what would be best?
  4. Just like the best parts because he doesn’t want to upgrade for a long long time. But 4k gaming at 144hz, also heavy productivity like video editing and what have you.
  5. Here is the list of parts I spent countless hours researching, (my brother wants the best of the best) I know that things on this list aren’t the best of the best but it’s good enough. But I wanted to know if you guys would change anything or is this a solid and reliable build? Processor: Intel Core i9-13900K Cooler: Asus ROG Ryujin III 71.6 CFM Liquid Motherboard: Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX ATX LGA 1700 RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x32 6000 30cl Storage: Samsung 990 pro 2TB/w heatsink Graphics: AMD 100-438373 Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB Power supply: Corsair HX1000i W 80+ Platinum
  6. I also want to make sure that there is no crazy bottleneck so there are no stutters. Would the 6750 xt be better? or will amd cause more stutters?
  7. I want to know what card would be best paired with the ryzen 5 5600x, and also what the best model for each would be.
  8. I have been on so many forums explaining my issue and tested everyones theory to see if someone is wrong with the gpu and they in the end its just a cpu bottleneck. I have a ryzen 5 5600x and rx 6900 xt and it stutters all the time and I dont care really because of it I never game anymore and its just sitting collecting dust. I just wanted to know what a better buy would be a rtx 3060 ti (more specifically the asus tuf 12gb) or 4060 ti(gigabyte eagle)?
  9. So, right now I currently have a rx 6900 xt and its overkill for my system and causes stuttering all the times, but I am giving it to my brother because he is building an extremely high end pc but he doesn't care about the gpu because he wont be gaming so I told him if he bought me the rtx 4060 ti ill give him my reference rx 6900 xt. But will my ryzen 5 5600x bottleneck it where it get bad stutters?
  10. So, I recently upgraded to the new Sonoma software and saw that it came with some cool new backgrounds but they are live backgrounds when put to screen saver mode but when I am on the laptop just doing normal stuff it just acts as a wallpaper and stays still. But I wanted to know if this drains the battery more or puts more stress on the system in general?
  11. Hello, So I wanted to know if I should shut my mac down every couple of days at night when I am not using it? I read from multiple sources that you shouldn't, but wouldn't that cause the battery to deteriorate faster? On my last mac I never really shut it off and I think this is one of the reasons that contributed to its short life.
  12. So, I have been trying to figure this out for a long time now, and that is why other people can play without v-sync and have a smooth experience and when I try to do this its choppy and tearing. I don't understand, I can turn vsync off and get 180+fps in a lot of games but its like playing on lower than 60hz or something. I also wanted to know if a monitor can cause stuttering? because I recently switched back to an older monitor and I get no stutters what so ever. Just to let everyone know I have freesync enabled. 13. Hey man, Im not the one who paid for the parts to begin with, i'm broke as hell I actually got the gpu for 600$ and a the cpu for 150$ and the pump I got for free due to an rma with corsair.
  14. Unfortunately, I cant easily just go out and buy and expensive monitor or cpu or I would have done so already, but for now ill just upscale my game to 4k and play like that for now.
  15. So, do you think all of my problems such as stuttering all stem from being severely bottlenecked at 1080p? The only reason I prefer playing at higher res is because I only have a 1080p monitor and when you change the res it turns everything small on screen because I dont have the right monitor. Is there a workaround for this?
  16. I have an issue in this Bf2042 where my cpu utilization is 80-90% most of the time, I heard that bf2042 really tanks the cpu so maybe this is normal, is it because I am bottlenecking? I tried higher resolutions but it the only thing that changes is the gpu utilization going from 45-50% to 80-95%. Another question I also wanted to know why my game isn't smooth when I don't use vsync? is it because I only have a 144hz monitor so when the frames go further than this range it become choppy? Because one of my problems I have been having with my setup is constant stuttering in any game, and it rarely happens in bf2042 that why I am enjoying it so much, but can this simply just be from my cpu bottlenecking me? 17. So, recently I have been playing Battlefield 2042 and I wanted to get stretched res, back when I had Nvidia there was an easy option to make a custom res and also change the aspect ratio. On Amd making a custom res is easy but I cant understand on how to change the aspect ratio. I also have an issue in this game where my cpu utilization is 80-90% most of the time I heard that this game really tanks the cpu so maybe this is normal, and I also have a bottleneck in my system. Another question I also wanted to know why my game isn't smooth when I don't use vsync? is it because I only have a 144hz monitor so when the frames go further than this range it become choppy? Because one of my problems I have been having with my setup is constant stuttering in any game besides (assassins creed odyssey) and it rarely happens in bf2042 that why I am enjoying it so much, but can this simply just be from my cpu bottlenecking me? even when I change res to 1440p my cpu utilization is still at 80% + in bf2042. Sorry for all the questions but I figured alot of them are simple to answer. 18. Take that back stutter still persists and I also flashed bios and re updated and still having problems so idk what to do.
  19. No, I turned resizeable bar off and it seems to have gotten smoother but no I don’t know if I decreased performance.
  20. Ok, will try but in the video I start of on all low settings then change to ultra.
