  1. It will ask for password on boot. I have not seen any performance loss from encrypting my drives, maybe an extra 5 seconds for booting. For drive corruption, you have the option to create a rescue disk so you will have no problem getting your files back if you stick a USB in with your rescue disk and boot from that.
  2. My case is a H510 not sure if the airflows good or not, I think I arranged the case fans properly. My room temperature is 80F so higher than normal but I dont know if thats enough to cause such a difference in the numbers
  3. I just built my PC and I have a 3700x running stock cooler. Right now when I run Cinebench and Ryzen master for testing, my CPU temps go to almost 100C. My idle temp is 50-55C. Apparently that is abnormal so I had to limit the max load of my processor to 80%. I've reseated the cooler so it is pretty tight and thermal paste looks alright. I'm not exactly sure how to go about fixing this issue. I do a bit of video editing so my CPU is probably going to be worked quite a bit and I don't want to end up killing it or anything
  4. Do you know if there any big differences between the CQ27G2 and the G1?
  5. My budget is strictly $450, I'm in the US. Monitor will be mainly used for everyday activities and some gaming (but not competitive gaming). I'm using AMD freesync so no issues there I'm looking for monitors with 1440p and 120-144Hz refresh rates that look good since I tend to watch a lot of videos on my PC and also run games with nice visuals. EDIT: Must be 27"
  6. How comfortable it is typing with the keyboard and are there any issues with how the key caps are spaced for you? I type for hours on end so having something that's comfortable to type with is very important to me.
  7. I'm in the US. By flat, I mean total keyboard height.
  8. It says that it costs $120 on Amazon which is out of my budget sadly
  9. I highly prefer keyboards that are more on the flat side and a comfortable keyboard is probably the most important thing for me. The keyboard will be mainly used for typing along with some light gaming. Cherry MX Reds/Browns would be nice if possible. I don't really care much about noise but I'd like to avoid a very silent keyboard if I can.
