  1. Hi all! Been experiencing this particular annoying yet worrying problem since yesterday. 2 days ago out of the blue, my Windows refuse to boot as per normal to my desktop after the boot logo (of my motherboard) and my monitor remains black although the PC is still evidently running. (Fans spinning etc.) After force restarting, to my surprise, everything was normal and my PC was able to boot to my desktop, but it appears that Windows couldn't load my graphics driver, hence I couldn't run any programs that required my GPU. In Device Manager, it states that Windows has failed to load drivers. Thinking it is probably a one time thing/problem, I ran DDU in safe mode, cleaned and restarted. I then downloaded a fresh copy of the drivers, and proceed to reinstall them. Everything worked well afterwards, with me using the computer occasionally here and then without any hiccups. However, after leaving the computer turned off for an extended period of time (around 4 hours), it appears the problem resurfaces again and I have to do the steps as mentioned above to be able to run programs that require my GPU again. May I know if anyone has any ideas what is going on? Cheers! EDIT: Using ASROCK B450M-HDV with Ryzen 2600X and a Asus RX580 8GB DDR5 if that matters.
  2. Hello all! Recently, my cousin received a DocuPrint P225 d - Fuji Xerox printer and was trying to install the printer, using the printing over Ethernet connection function since the USB cable seems to be missing. However since her house is pretty big, she has an additional router on top of an existing modem to further 'boost' the signal, as well as extending the connection. Unfortunately, the printer is only detected when the connection is between her printer and her router (which she doesn't want to). Instead, she prefers having the printer beside the modem outside of her room. However, when the cable is hooked up between the modem and the printer, the installer doesn't detect the printer. Do note that the computer is connected to the router instead of the modem. Pretty new to these networking stuff, and was hoping someone can lend a helping hand out. Thanks!
  3. I've tried in on a different plug, and it still remains the same. The thing is my computer does boot up, but with a no signal/black screen The only components the technician tested was the RAM, CPU, and motherboard. But Im certain the rest of the parts are working.
  4. To start off, I built a PC 3 years back and it was serving me fine till one day, there was no display upon powering on the computer. Do note than CPU, PSU, and GPU fans were spinning. Firstly, I assumed it was a GPU problem. Hence I decided to search around and found that my HDMI port could actually be faulty. Be hold, after I bought a DVI cable and plugged into my GPU, there was a display. Do note that my HDMI cable and monitor is working. Fast forward few weeks and the same problem happens. At this point, I figured my GPU might have gave up, hence I bought a new GPU and plugged in it. Unfortunately there was still no display. My third idea will be that the motherboard was faulty by some chances. Hence, I brought my motherboard, RAM, CPU to the RMA center to get a RMA. For some reason, it worked there when the technician first inspected the components and booted it up successfully. He stated that the components were fine and there was no need to RMA. That was when I realized the PSU could be the culprit. Fast forward to today and I got a new PSU. The same problem still happens. Do note that sometimes there is a signal to my monitor, it's just that it's a black screen. I'm really unsure of what to do now, and will appreciate if I can get any help. From the looks of it, GPU, HDMI cable, monitor, motherboard, RAM, CPU, PSU seems to be okay. What could be causing the issue now? Parts: i3-9100f (No iGPU, however my new GPU is definitely working since its BNIB) RX 580 Cosair 550W PSU H310m ASrock
  5. EDIT: Update So I basically dismantled everything, reseated my GPU, ram etc. and also reseted my CMOS by using the CMOS Jumper on the motherboard. I then turned on and to my surprise I saw output saying that my BIOS was reseted. All was well and Windows booted to my usual desktop. However, I was trying to plug my mouse/keyboard in and fiddle some wires on the back at the IO of my motherboard when the screen goes green, and then blacks out again. I replugged my HDMI cable, and tried to reboot my PC and now the monitor says no signal again. What could be the problem here exactly?
  6. Monitor is working fine. My motherboard was recently replaced, could it spoil that fast? Also my motherboard only has one pcie slot
  7. Hello there, So there's my computer with a CPU without integrated graphics. So last week, my display just gave out (booting without a display unfortunately), and first thought is that my GPU spoil. Hence, I replaced my GPU and got a second hand (tested working new) today, but despite plugging in the new GPU, my display is still not showing :c HDMI cable and monitor is confirmed to be working. What should I do now?
  8. Bought a DVI cable, awaiting for it at the moment. What are the chances that the ports will spoil first rather than the GPU though? Is there any tell tale signs of GPU spoiling/port spoiling beforehand?
  9. I got a working monitor and HDMI cable, and there is still no display. So I guess my GPU is fried? Is there any other potential causes?
  10. Unfortunately, I do not have any spare parts with me at the moment
  11. Hello all :) Prebuilt my computer some time back, and today out of the sudden there was no display. Firstly, my computer is running on i5-8400F, so that's without the integrated GPU. How do I determine if it is a: 1) Bad GPU 2) Bad HDMI Cable or 3) Bad monitor? Thanks.
  12. Ah I see Learnt so much from y'all, thanks for the help
  13. Ah thanks Just to add on, with the old motherboard being spoilt, it is literally not worth into looking which part of it has spoilt right? Or is there an easy way to diagnose which part is not working, and if so if it is easy to repair it.
