  1. Ok, I'll take it apart and see what else is different looking than usual, hopefully if there is something else wrong it's at least obvious.
  2. I don’t know what part it is, but I am trying to diagnose the problem and if someone could explain what I could do to fix it or if it’s even fixable in the first place. The part I need info on is Q504
  3. Hello, my 1080ti short circuited last night due to some water that spilled on my desk and then started dripping into my pc when I went to get paper towel, I turned off the power on the psu, took the gpu out, cleaned it, cleaned the whole pc (pc is fine, water mainly got on gpu), after I had the pc working I airdried the gpu the best i could overnight, the next day I used 99% isopropyl alcohol and took the gpu apart and cleaned all of it, pcb, heatsync, etc. I dried it once more to make sure there wasn't anything else on it, I put it in the pc, plugged in the power, tried to boot the pc, It started up, but then the gpu started smoking and a capacitor to my knowledge blew up/melted. From what I know I'm out of luck. I have to buy a new gpu now. Is there anything I can do to fix it somehow fix it with a professional service or what is the card worth dead/as parts?
  4. I got a NZXT H510 Elite a while ago, but the parts I have need more sufficient cooling. So I'm wondering what case I should buy for maximum amount of airflow.
  5. Ok, I got G.Skill Trident Z RGB 3600Mhz CL16 2x16Gb (32Gb) Dimms. They have work very well so far.
  6. I've already have my system built, i have some old 2666mhz 8gb stick in it right now, I have the asus maximus x code for my motherboard. I just don't know what ram to buy.
  7. What would be the best ram to buy for an i9-9900k?
  8. I like Intel and Amd, either one works for me. I would get the Ryzen 7 3800xt instead of the i7-10700k. I've debated on both of them, but there is a slight edge in performance while gaming using Intel, Amd does do a better job at multitasking though. I went with Intel because I intend on using the PC for mostly gaming,
  9. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HD4zDx My PC itself is good condition, all parts work optimum with no errors or faults. But I am wanting to upgrade this year, and I want to sell my old PC and put the money towards a new build. I took the price of which I paid for my PC and took 70% off due to it being three years, my estimated price ($800-1000) . I am just looking for any tips for pricing it, or someone else's opinion on it. PC I'm looking to build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Gp47L2 I might switch the 2080 Super for a 3080 depending on the release date and price.
