  1. I'm looking for a good 144Hz Monitor for my laptop.
    This is my current laptop monitor: 15.6" FHD (1920 x 1080) 144Hz 9ms 300-nits 72% color gamut (If that's even important)
These are the video ports it has:

    1. One HDMI 2.0 port
    2. One mini DisplayPort 1.4
    3. One Thunderbolt 3 (USB 3.1 Gen 2) port

    I'm looking for a monitor that's between $180-$220, 144Hz, and is G-sync compatible.
One monitor I have looked at is this one: https://www.amazon.com/AOC-C24G1-Frameless-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B07GD5XG5G/ref=sr_1_2?crid=XFEO4HJAOU8M&dchild=1&keywords=144hz%2Bmonitor&qid=1600658588&sprefix=144hz%2Bmo%2Caps%2C151&sr=8-2&th=1
Is this monitor any good? Are there any better ones? Or maybe any other suggestions?

  2. Not sure where to put this, so I put it here.

My friend is attempting to gather PC cleaning parts. He is looking for a good budget anti-static band but does not think any of the brands he has looked are reputable. Any good recommendations for an Anti Static band?

Why is there a $500 budget for each part and not just an overall budget? Seems really weird to me. Is your friend planning on overclocking at all? Because if not then I'd say that an X570 board is a little overkill for what he is putting in it. Oh also, I would consider a slightly more powerful PSU to a 550W.

He's buying the parts over time, which is why its $500 per part. Hes not planning to overclock at all. And any suggestions for a good PSU?

  4. Budget (including currency): Each specific part must be less than $500. Currency:USD

    Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games and some Content Creation(SFM and 3d modeling ).

Other details Storage needs are already covered

My friend is gathering parts for a new PC. His only limiting factor is the price of each part(Each part must be less than $500). A couple of friends and I compiled this list. Any suggestions on what we should change? He also needs WiFi 5 or WiFI 6. This will also be his first build of if that is important to anyone.

Edit: Ok, so I made a couple of changes based on your criticisms.

Edit2: Changed the case and also changed some parts from black to white as friend wanted that.

Hey guys this is my first post on here. My friend wants a budget gaming PC thats in between $500-$600. Me and a couple of other friends have compiled this list. I want to know if these parts will work well with each other and if I can get cheaper parts.

P.S He says he's good with his storage and his monitor and will simply bring them over. However, he has an HDD, if you have any suggestions for a cheap SSD that would also be appreciated!

My friend says he is going to save up for a high-end PC. Thanks for the help, though!
