    I would use liquid metal only under the IHS of CPUs that aren't soldered and have bad temps...
    In theory it could be used anywhere. Except with aluminium...

    probably, but it won't help much. the limit of any cooling system is the radiator and the fans, not the liquid being use. water is good enough.

    tl;dw: Yes, you can, but it's corrosive, toxic, conductive and not as viscous as water (without diluting it). And the result isn't that much better to make it worth the risks.
