  1. Hey, I think it's your GPU being the bottle neck as far as gaming performance. As far as the RAM goes I would check for any stickers on the side or use a tool like CPU-Z (I think that should give you RAM info). I also think that you can mix and match RAM however it will need to be of the same generation i.e. ddr4 or ddr3. So you can only add ddr4 sticks if you already have ddr4 RAM that you will be pairing it with. I addition to that you will need to have all of the memory run at the same speed. So if you have some 3600mhz ram paired with 2800mhz you will need to run all RAM at 2800mhz or whatever the lowest clock is. If you only have a small (about 100mhz - 200mhz) difference between RAM speeds however than you may be able to get away with overclocking the slower memory.
  2. Hey I just encountered an issue where half of my steam library just wast showing up (in their client). After a reboot all was fine though so I've had some issues as well just putting that out there. (happened about 3 hrs ago)
  3. Yes, however in my experience they also sound very nice with the mother board amp build into my PC. Even though these amps vary widely I would still expect them to be able to perform better with the 990 pros than with the Kraken, seeing as my phone can also run them fine. But yes one would need to make sure that a somewhat adequate amp is present.
  4. Depending on whether or not you would like to have a microphone built in I would recommend looking at the beyerdynamic dt 990 pro headphones since they have a good sound stage and higher resistance (250 ohms instead of 32 ohms) which should give you more detail in the higher sound ranges.
  5. Hello there, I have had Forza Horizon 4 for a while now. As of late it has started lagging like crazy at startup (after I press continue at the first menu (before this point its all normal)) going to the point of me not being able to do anything. Buttons are not clickable and I'm getting about 0.25 fps if not less. This started happening shortly after an update on the 9 of July this year. The part that confuses me is that it was fine the first few times that I launched it. After deleting it off of my system completely and re downloading all 65GB of it earlier today and STILL encountering the issue I was so perplexed that Im now asking for advice on this. It has turned into less of a concern of weather or not I will be able to play Forza on my rig and more into one where I want to make sure that my PC is not just acting up for whatever reason. Every other program that I have runs fine and as expected without any performance loss. The only thing that I could think of is that I installed a GPU driver on my Linux partition (CUDA 11 and CuDNN) for GPU accelerated AI development. -All help greatly appreciated, thank you.
