What motherboard do you have speifically? Whats the full name, not just the brand name?

If you have your connectors connected right to the MB, try checking in the BIOS/UEFI configurations and see if you can manually set them there.

Forgot about raytracking. What exactly is that anyway?

Not planning on buying one right now but say my limit is $150-$200 and it's more for watching Netflix than gaming but I still want have a gaming type of gpu if I decide to start game on my PC.

As of mid 2020, what are some best budget gpu's that are 1080p and VR compatible.

Does thermal paste go bad after being used over years of use? I think it might have been 7 or 8 years since I put the thermal paste on. I know taking the heat sink off then put it back on without new paste will create air bubbles which isn't good. I'm asking because my cooling fan spins high a lot and is loud. Or is it just my fan is cheap. it's made by Cooler Master. Maybe be a 80mm or 120mm
