trying to map a drive it seem to be work partly but the drive wont show in file exploer but it shows up in winderstat really confused any help would be really appricaiated Have Tried maping drive to diffrent Letter and restarting both systems

Disabled EEE and power saving features to no luck unfortunatly, for how i set up just the two pcs i used this guide: https://techwiser.com/how-to-connect-pc-to-pc-lan-cable/ Have since set it all back to automatic. As for what my conncetion shows as its Showing as 10mbps which i also dont understand why its showing that speed any idea on how the set it to gigabit?

Any advice or a link on the easyest way to do this?

Sorry didnt mention this in original post but i can get Gigabit speed if i conncent the Pc directly to eachother its only when doing though the switch speed drop dramaticly from 70MB/s to 1MB/s which means im assuming both the nics are fine and its somthing to do with how the switch interacts with my home broadband and the two pcs

Mostly Video files varing from few 100MB to upwards of 40GB

Recently brought a gigabit switch so i can do file tranfers between two pcs and have wired internet acess problem comes when my file transfer speeds are 1/MBs.
