  1. Hello everyone, just recently bought a pre-built PC that has an RTX 3060. The first time I opened it and checked everything, it seemed that the graphics card could not be detected in dxDiag (integrated GPU is the one that's showing). In the device manager, there is an error icon on the GPU and the description says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". I have clean installed drivers and also updated my BIOS. I see the graphics card lighting up, but its fans aren't running. Is this a hardware issue?
  2. have not been able to power up my pc as of now due to the outlet issue. Yes, the GFCI is for human safety. I was thinking of just using it to be able to plug my UPS directly to the wall. So just to be clear- if I use what I have right now, which are the extension connected to a 2-prong outlet, it won't cause any issue or anything?
  3. Hey everyone, just recently bought a new gaming PC that has already been built. It's my first gaming PC, and also bought a 1000VA UPS (APC brand) for it. The problem that I am facing right now is that my room only has 2 prong outlets. I have an extension that has 3 prongs but the manual for the UPS says that I should directly plug it into a wall outlet instead of an extension. I'm not sure what I need to do to fix this. Would you guys suggest the use of GFCI? Should look something like this PSU>UPS>GFCI If that's not recommended, what other option I can do? If there's no other option, has anyone tried powering their computer like this PSU>UPS>extension>2-prong outlet? TIA!!
  4. Hello, so I am planning to buy a Geforce GTX1660 super but I see different brands like EVGA 1660, MSI 1660 or ROG 1660 and other more. Is the performance of the 1660 still the same or does it vary from brand to brand?
  5. Hello guys, so I'm doing a research for my class and it is about computer components and I'm confused if it is the parts eg. motherboard, ram, cpu, gpu or if it's the "ouput unit, input unit and storage unit". I tried googling it but I get mixed answers so I'm not sure what is the right one. Thank you to whoever can help me :))
  6. Hello, im using an i5-4460 @ 3.20Ghz cpu and the temperature goes up to 83c when I render some projects. Is it safe for my cpu or will it cause damage if I let it render for many hours? Ps: I don't know much about some of the specs of my computer has since this was only given to me and it is second hand.
  7. Hello, I'm planning to buy a graphics card for both rendering and gaming that is less that $300. I have an i5-4460 processor with 8gb of ram and I don't know what graphics card is compatible for my processor so it can avoid bottlenecking. 1660 super is one of my choice but I don't know if it will be bottlenecked. What do you guys think or suggest?
