Rendering videos in NVENC using Vegas 18 Pro, learning Adobe Premiere. Other details I will look into buying a 1440p 144hz monitor as well. Currently running 1 60hz and 1 75hz 1080p monitor. Most PC parts I will be picking up Black Friday from CC. UPGRADING FROM: 2 Xeon x5670s, 48 gigs of ddr3-1333mz in triple channel, asus 1650 super (hp z800 workstation) NOTES: Storage I will be using from my old computer X570S Elite Aorus (non AX) was purchased from CC for 209.99 CAD as a black friday deal. (i have it right now) Bought the 4000x for 139.99 CAD from Best Buy, have it right now If something does come up, I can return both of these for a full refund. Also, there is a Zotac AMP Holo Extreme 3070 TI in Canada Computers for 829.00 Cad, is it worth buying? Is it a good deal? I cannot find any 3080s other than one available for 969~. Everything else is over a grand or out of stock. I would love a 3080 that isn't the gigabyte vison, since my build is black and I want lots of RGB. And, is the cooler fine? I'm looking to overclock the 5800x. Lots of Feedback is appreciated, this is one of my biggest purchases yet.

    I've reinstalled Synapse and drivers several times. I use it in wireless mode, and it sucks how every time someone speaks in a google meet the audio crackles. How would I fix this issue? It sucks because I spent 170 Canadian dollars on headphones. Edit- If it helps, the Game channel crackles more than the Chat channel.

    Ok, I'm trying to order a 1650 super, but all of them are in BC and even though they say "free shipping Canada wide" they "don't ship to my billing address". I reside in Ontario, and no 1650 supers can ship there (except for the super expensive ones). What can I do? And, if I can't do anything about CC, are there any other stores that offer 1650 supers at MSRP?

    HP z800 motherboard doesn't have overclocking support, so I'll need a custom bios, can't find one been looking for a year or so for a custom bios

    That's why I'm asking, I wanted to know if the single core performance from 10 years ago can record in 1080p 60 with shaders. I currently have fast render on in optifine, making it run on most cores so it gives me better performance, but with shaders fast render isn't compatible

    Worst thing is I can't overclock because the stupid HP Mobo bios doesn't support overclocking and I can't find a custom bios for it

    Alright, this isn't really the right forum, however, everywhere else I posted it my request got ignored. The point of my question that I would like to pull the trigger on a 1650 Super I saw on sale for 200$ Canadian. I will be recording gameplay with OBS 1080p 60fps (Silder's Basic Shaders). I am asking this question because this processor is very old and the single core/thread performance is extremely important in Minecraft. Any other specs and details will be listed below- 48 Gigs of 1333mz ram Current GPU is a NVS Quadro 290 (barely get 720p 30 fps with it) 1100WATT PSU (HP z800) Dual CPU Configuration (totaling 12 cores 24 threads) And hey, I might record some other games for my YouTube channel. There are no other external resources and or videos about this configuration and processor, henceforth me reaching out to you guys. Thanks, xniqht

    Really? So RTX cards will really not embarrass my Xeon from 2010? Damn, that's cool. I was nervous that if I replace my Quadros from 2007 and replace it with an RTX card my frames will stay the same.

I plan on gaming with this. (Budget is around 300-700 CAD) I would not really like to change the CPU/buy another PC, since that is over my budget. I use PCIe x16 2.0 slots in my motherboard.     Alright, this has helped me a lot. The Radeon 5600XT is around 400 bucks in my area, and the 1660 super is 350, I'll consider getting the 1660 super, thanks!
