  1. I found LG's UK site for the monitor but sadly you cant buy it directly from them or find out where you can buy it from. As for the eve spectrum I have seen one video about the monitor and I can agree it looks very shady. I'm probably going to wait until the display is release and reviewers start getting their hands on them, which to be fair could happen even before their release if they market it correctly. I would hope they aren't a scam but it isn't wort the $200 deposit that they are asking for. I would imagine though that I could contact my bank or even pay through PayPal if they accept. The buyer protection is nice as long as you have a receipt and some sort of evidence that you didn't get what you paid for.
  2. There still some hope. If the release date for the monitor is pushed back maybe as much as Cyberpunk 2077 I could probably have the funds for a pair of them
  3. Cheap 4k monitor at 120hz. Do you mind linking the monitor or just where you found the information? If its below 500GBP that's and absolute steal!
  4. The actual display under the resolution told me that it was doing 120hz from what I remember. I understand the console wouldn't be capable of that but my assumption is that the display still tried to output the refresh rate.
  5. I apologise for my grammar in advance. I only just scraped a pass in my English exam
  6. Hey guys! Recently a major issue had dawned on me with the upcoming release of the Xbox Series X... I don't own a 4k monitor. Although this can be easily solved by purchasing a 4k monitor, I am after something quite unique based on my finding so far (Which have been pretty unsuccessful). I recently tried my siblings 4k LG TV which when connected to my original Xbox One began to output a lower resolution at 120hz, which is exactly what I want just in a monitor form factor. I am looking for a maximum of 27" in size as I am used to a 24" but, 4k at that size is not very plausible because of the pixel density. I would prefer to not overclock for the displays longevity and I am willing to spend £500 at the most. I have seen many monitors that can output 4k at 60hz under 500GBP so I hope that some out there can perform similar to how the TV did. In short, I am looking for a monitor that is capable of 4k 60Hz that can also do lower resolutions at higher refresh rates out of the box (preferable 1440p at 120hz). As a Computer Science student I look forward to your comments. If this is not possible or if I am getting something wrong then please educate me to improve my understanding of displays. Thanks.
