  1. So I don’t really know what I did, but I managed to get my pc to boot into Windows without clearing cmos with the overclocked ram
  2. I don’t know if I posted this in the right section. My specs are: Mobo: Msi X470 gaming plus max Gpu: Msi Radeon rx 570 armor 8g oc Case: Corsair Carbide Series 175r Rgb Ram: Corsair Vengeance rgb pro 16gb Cpu: Amd Ryzen 3600 Storage: Wd blue sn550 1tb NVME ssd and seagate barracuda 2tb Hdd Cpu cooler: wraith stealth cooler (came with cpu) psu: corsair ( I cant remember which one sorry) OS: Windows 10 64 bit Home So I built my first pc around 2 weeks ago, overclocked my ram to 3200 MHz because it was the advertised speed and it worked fine. A few days ago, I decided to update my BIOS to H61 (it was at H40 before) on an MSI motherboard. Today, i realised that my ram speed had reset so I changed it back to 3200 MHz. When I tried to boot into Windows, the Msi loading screen would come up as usual, but then it did something strange. It said preparing automatic repair and then diagnosing your pc. Once this had finished, it said that my pc did not start to correctly and it gives me two choices, restart and advanced options. The pc only boots into Windows if I don’t set is at 3200 MHz. I have tried multiple things but to no success. I think this is a bios update problem because it was working fine at that speed until I updated the bios. Does anyone have a solution to this?
