They wont become useless, but you are leaving an estimated 20-50% performance increase on the table by buying now and not in a month. Also, new graphics cards come out every 2 years with the occasional updated model coming out in the year between.

from what i know, gigabyte gaming oc cards are a middle ground between turbo and 2 fans and their aorus line, which has insane cooling.
and from what i see, msi's gaming x trio version compares to gigabyte aorus version. -------------------------------------------^
personally, i bought the 2080 aorus (non super) and the temps are MAD.
on csgo, minecraft and valorant which are cpu intensive, the cpu doesnt go over 45c (with a little bit of modification to the fan curve)
with heavier titles like wd2, fortnite and overwatch the card doesnt go above 70c
go for the gaming x trio.

Check out the tier list if you haven't seen it.

The TRIO is the better card of those.

Noctua has 6 different heatsink covers. NH-U12S heatsink covers(NA-HC1/2) will not fit on the NH-U14S, but NA-HC5 and NA-HC6 heatsink covers will fit on them. You can find more information here: https://noctua.at/en/products/accessories/heatsink-covers
The best solution will be getting a NH-U14S, NA-HC5/6 heatsink cover and NF-A14 or NF-15 fans with chromax, if you really like the aesthetics and great cooing performance.
You can get information about fans here on 140mm section: https://noctua.at/en/products/fan/chromax

The NH-U12S will be your best choice in terms of reliability. Also it will easily handle your 3700X while staying silent. Speaking out of experience here. For looks you can always slap an RGB fan onto it and move the included NF-F12 behind for push/pull

AIOs don't make a lot of sense imo because with ryzen you'll not really OC and thus don't need the extra cooling. A nice air cooler will get you where you want.
