  1. He doesn’t specifically want certain features but he told me that he trusts nvidia better, so I put in the 2070 super instead of the 5700xt. They both give similar performance anyway
  2. My friend needs a new pc and he usually talks to me when he has tech questions. So I’m posting here now because I actually haven’t followed up with pcs much in the past year or so. Budget (including currency): 1400 usd Country: usa Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: gaming and basic 1080p video editing Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): He will play at 4K 60hz, He will buy probably a week after I post this, he’s upgrading from, amd phenom ii x6 1090t, 8 gb ddr2 800mhz, gtx 970, Windows 8.1, Also He didn’t realize that his gtx 970 couldn’t handle 4K gaming until he already bought his monitor, He was kinda dumb at the time. He also found out that the rest of his system is crap as well so he started saving up for a new one. also it includes windows from Microsoft because he doesn’t trust those cheap windows keys. I tried to convince him that it’s fine but he doesn't want to change his mind about it no matter what I say. I made a pcpartpicker for him https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dxpjrV
  3. 2070 is slightly better than the 2060 super but it probably won’t make a noticeable difference in games. Also rtx 3000 should be available in a few months so you should wait till then
  4. 75 is completely normal, don’t be worried unless it goes past 85
  5. Nice, I thought it would be more like 20fps based on how some people talk about ray tracing on the 2060
  6. That’s very good but how does it do in ray tracing games?
  7. Ok, I really don’t wanna wait more than like a month for a gpu upgrade. Is it worth it to wait? And how soon is it gonna release
  8. Is the rtx 2060 good for 1080p in games like rdr2 and gta v? also I heard that the 2060 is bad for ray tracing. Is it really that bad? Will I be able to get at least 30fps in ray traced games at 1080p?
