  1. Recently I added a second SSD to my setup, so I now have a 128gb SSD (boot drive), 1tb HDD, and my new 500gb SSD. After installing the new SSD, my pc no longer boots. Upon powering on my PC, I am presented with the message "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key" After going into the BIOS, I assumed it would be a problem relating to the boot ordering, but I then discovered neither of my SSDs are even options to boot from. I only see my HDD, and a realtek option. I then went into the SATA configuration in my BIOS, and found all SATA ports are found to be empty, except the one containing my HDD. My motherboard is Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3. To troubleshoot, I tried disconnecting my new SSD, both by unplugging the connection to the motherboard, and the connection to the drive. I have also tried switching the SATA ports of all three drives on the motherboard, but this did nothing. I am totally at a loss here as to what could be causing this problem; even after reverting to the state of my PC before installing my new SSD (i.e. unplugging it), I still cannot boot or detect my SSD. I don't think has any relevance but I will include this detail anyway: I didn't have any spare SATA cables, so I simply unplugged the cable from my CD-drive, which I never use, and plugged it into my new SSD instead. Any help is appreciated.
