Honestly, not sure what the b or p are? Originally I was into the 180sx, but prefer the 240z these days, although the price of a nice example now makes me want to cry.

  2. Cheers, I thought that might be the case. I'll keep it as separate storage or just sell it.
  3. I've always known in theory the more striped drives the greater the chance for failure but wondered in practice how likely an issue actually arising is for a personal build getting mostly light-med use. I'll also have a nightly backup to a single large drive as I'm not totally crazy
  4. Hi guys, I'm looking for some advice about setting up storage on my new/first custom build. I'll be putting the OS on its own M.2 SSD, then I'd like to setup 2 1TB HDDs I own already into RAID 0 with a second cheap 120GB M.2 SSD acting as a cache for the RAID. Setting something like this up is completely new to me but from the looks of this blog post it seems like storage spaces can do what I need. Is this a reasonable approach to achieving this set up? Side note, I'm super unclear as to whether creating a striped storage pool requires matching drives. I HAVE matching drives but I also have a 1TB laptop HDD, which I'd add if possible, even if it brings the performance of the 3.5" drives down to its level my figuring is that 3 striped drives with 2 at a slight penalty would still be faster than the 2 drives alone. Thanks for any advice, or steer in the right direction.
