Im teaching myself Premiere Pro as I type.

    I am a complete newb.

    It is difficult to understand

Until you DuckDuckGo how to do something.  Then its trial and error

Honestly I have more issues understanding how to get the best quality video compressed to take up the least amount of space, than navigating Premiere Pro.

Right now though all Im doing is b-roll editing (I have a week or so on this software) and its easy for that.  The cool stuff you can do I havent tought myself yet, so it could be quite more complex than I am saying - sans just looking up your question on the internet...someones asked it, and someones replied.

Well, funny thing, I myself think that premiere is pretty much intuitive after you spend some time on it (as every adobe product). Maybe you'll need to search some on google but it isn't going to be hard to find answers.
I would tottaly recomend you to use adobe premiere because it is flexible and has all that compatibility shit with the adobe cloud, that is wonderful! (It can help you and others when working on larger or specific projects)

    Glad it's resolved

You may still run into instability if you run pcie 3.0, so bear that in mind

Most people with USB risers use pcie 1.1, since mining doesn't need the bandwidth

Yup, most likely the issue (CPU doesn't do PCIe 4.0, but chipset does)

did u set PCIE gen to lower gen? if it's on auto it will try to communicate on pcie 4.0, which wont work in almost all USB risers that i know of

Re: why that bit doesn’t make sense
That may because it’s a solution arguably no better than the problem. Also it assumes some stuff which hasn’t happened yet and might not even work.
It’s a hack rather than a fix.  IF the problem is the machine is just too old and slow to use the new memory to best advantage,  AND you’re going to move the fast memory to a newer machine, the old one is still going to need memory.  Specifically old slow memory.  IF the old slow memory is cheaper (which it might not be in which case the whole thing explodes) it could make sense to just buy some old slow cheap memory to put in the old machine because you’re going to have to at some point anyway.

If you’ve got the old memory for the thing that does work already, throwing it in might not hurt anything.   A hack rather than a fix.

It might be not possible because you have no control over the FCLK with zen + and the imc is a little meh.
I'm not saying it's impossible, but it will he difficult.

    That'll be somewhat reasonable.
If your already planning an upgrade for ram then I guess go for it, if your fine with the current kit, keep it
Micron e die isn't the worst and should be fine for now.

    @TofuHaroto
After some search I was about to resocket my cpu (its not a intel, but anyways) as I was doing some work in blender and was getting trouble making actions and listening to a video at the same time I saw that there was just 8gb recognized, so I go take the 2 mem out of the board and test one by one (done before).
For my surprise, a stick alone booted with the xmp profile without any problems, so did the 2 sticks. I'm happy it's working again but don't know what to think about it now haha.
Did a cinebench real quick and the performance is on par too...

I mean , it's possible that it's due to wear down
1.46 us a pretty high voltage for micron E-die and  I wouldn't go over 1.4 with this kit.
3400? You just said it was set at 3200?

Well, in that case I'll be testing another kit when I have the chance...
Thanks for the attention and help!
