  1. For future additions, I would love too. Now to deal with the lagging/dying laptop for a bit longer. that might test my patience more.
  2. Yeah, I’m planning on it. Favourite colour for me is purple hence the cooler master choice but I know Noctua are known for some nice and quiet fans and coolers.
  3. Thanks, solid advice! I see a theme with the parts you picked very matte black. But definitely like the storage options, I was hoping to add to this at a later stage with my build.
  4. Thank you! I had a look at the B550 boards by Asus. I know the PCIe M.2 is gen 3 on these boards - would this affect any performance that’s noticeable in the long run?
  5. I could do. Any specific reason why to hold off till I have the money in full. Only reason I say but by bit is because my freelance projects vary with dates and dependant on launch dates.
  6. Hey guys, so this is my first build and I’m excited but scared but more excited. My old MacBook Pro retina late 2013 that I use for work mostly - is slow and horrible and as you can imagine is a terrible gaming machine. I have a PS4 and that’s been my main gaming platform but now I need an all rounder that I can work on nicely without my pc freezing while developing sites and designing and also enjoy gaming on. So I’m going away from laptops and would love to keep this pc for a long time with the ability to upgrade and improve. Budget (including currency): Don’t really have a budget but don’t want to spend thousands of Pounds £ Country: United Kingdom Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Developing websites, Illustrator, light Photoshop and some gaming. FPS games (Eg. modern warfare), Open world games and Smaller games like Don’t starve. Other details I don’t have anything at the moment, upgrading from a MacBook Pro 13” retina. I will be buying this bit by bit over the next 2/3 months with money from Freelance projects so could even be sooner. I want to get two monitors one for gaming and one 4K for design. Any suggestions welcome. I’ve been gaming on a PS4 so would be nice to get those extra frame rates. Keyboard and mouse - anything half decent will do. I like small form factor mice. Not about bigger brighter better keyboards or mice. This is what I’ve put together so far - I’ve gone with a mobo with WiFi because routing a LAN to the room where I’ll be setting up will be a mission for the time being. And I know the case has usb type c and the board doesn’t support front type c but that’s okay cause I don’t use them. Hope this setup will be a good one. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/dw7Lmg
