  1. Well installing the exe version of spotify did help. But the issue ultimately came back I did memtest (8 passes) and nothing came up. I tried DDU and reinstalled my display drivers. The issue is still here. Any other ideas? Is it the PSU? Do I have enough power for my rig?
  2. So while doing memtest, I was looking up Spotify crashing PCs. After 1 pass of memtest (I know I should've let it run longer), I tried uninstalling the Windows store version of Spotify and installing the exe version. I think that fixed it. The Windows store version is messing things up somehow. I'll run memtest overnight tonight just to be extra sure it's not the RAM. Thank you very much for your help!
  3. Running memtest now so I can't do ddu just yet. I'll try ddu right after memtest is done. Under load is around 70C for CPU and 40-50 for GPU. Under load for me is GTA V ultra at 1080p. I haven't really tried stress testing my computer yet. Thanks!
  4. CPU temps are high 50s to mid 60s celsius for light tasks like word processing, PDF viewing, Chrome browsing and Spotify in the background. GPU is around 40-50 celsius.
  5. Bad news. Seems like disabling DOHP didn't fix the problem. Issue 2 came back again. I'll run memtest now and see what comes up.
  6. I think I'll leave the RAM at 2133 for now until I'm more comfortable with playing around with the bios. But I'll def keep that in mind when the time comes. I'll run memtest tonight and see if it's the RAM that is bad. Hopefully not though. Everything is brand new! Thanks for your reply!
  7. Hello thanks for your reply. I downloaded OCCT and ran it for about 5 minutes. I'm not sure how long I should run it. It said no errors though. Is XMP the thing that OCs the ram to 3600? I think it's called DOCP on my motherboard. I disabled it and it seems like it's more stable now.
  8. Hello, I recently built my first PC and it's having some minor issues. Most of the time, it works flawlessly but there are some random issues I can't diagnose. Issue #1 The PC will sometimes turn itself off when booting into Windows. It seems to happen during a "cold start" where I haven't turned it on for a few hours. Issue #2 The PC will sometimes crash? There's no BSOD or anything. But audio playing in spotify will loop/skip. It's not unresponsive though. I can still click open the start menu and open task manager. But you can't interact with the programs. You can open them, but clicking stuff won't work. I can't restart or turn it off. I have to force it off by holding the power button. Issue #3 I had a BSOD once after logging onto windows. The error was memory management. Never had it again though (probably a one off) I'm super new to building computers and I appreciate any feedback/troubleshooting I can get! Thanks!
