  1. Seemed to figure it out guys, and my chip was undervolted at 1.1 volts while being overclocked to 4.1 on all cores (Maximum speed with this setup). This dropped fps by around 10-15 in games and was really bugging me. I reset bios settings and it boosts up to 4.5-4.6 and the voltage fluctuates as the clock speed goes up implying that its returned to stock settings with temps during load never reaching above 65. My theory is that one of the programs I have have downloaded may have automatically overclocked my chip and thus slowed the performance but a simple bios to default fixed it. Thanks for the help!
  2. @Kid.Lazer Well this is something new I found, while running cinebench r20, my temps on ryzen master jump to 83 which I have never seen my cpu go to before. Usually my load temps have never gone above 70. Could this indicate a faulty pump? And also on cinebench r20, it shows my 3600xt clocked at 4.1ghz if that means anything. Im not sure if that means the base or the maximum. I remember about a week or two ago, it showed it clocked at 4.6ghz.
  3. So recently I've noticed that my Cpu's maximum clock speed has been lowered from 4.6ghz as advertised to 4.1ghz (seen on Ryzen Master and CPU-Z). I haven't touched any overclocking settings or installed any other programs that would mess with my processor other than AI Suite 3. I updated my chipset drivers as that may have been causing an issue but that didn't do anything. I decided to reset the settings through Ryzen Master and it brought me back to my advertised 4.6ghz maximum speed and temps while idle stayed between 40-45 with a corsair h100i pro xt. However, my computer just shut down instantly about a minute after that even though temps were stable. I'm not sure whats happening and everything was running fine about a week ago so would anyone have an idea of what is going on?
  4. Hey everyone, So I've been overclocking my MSI 2060 SUPER GAMING X and ended up stable (Tested with two benchmarks and half hour each) with a +120 Core clock and a +1130 Memory Clock. I myself think the memory clock is excessive and may cause performance issues in games. I also would rather get more performance on the core clock so should I lower the memory clock to around 750 and continue messing with the core clock? Also what does the core voltage slider mean on afterburner as I have it to 100% and am not sure if it affects the lifespan of the card or something similiar.
  5. The fans are at max speed at boot because none of your systems drivers have loaded in yet, its normal for them to do that but as the system boots up they return to their idle speed as they are usually off at idle (Fan technology) and turn on during heavy loads such as gaming, etc.
  6. So I've been playing games likes GTA V, warzone, AC Odyssey, and other higher demanding games with my 2060 super. I noticed however that the card never goes above 69 degrees Celsius and tends to not go above 97% usage. For me, I honestly don't see a problem however some of my other mates were saying that my 2060 super was being limited by some sort. Does this indicate some sort of issue or is it just normal usage? 7. I recently built a pc and installed a Corsair ICUE h110i AIO as my cpu cooler for my ryzen 5 3600XT. I was wondering what the average temps should be for my cpu when simply browsing and while gaming with this cooler/cpu combination.
  8. I was going to buy a 27 inch 1080p monitor by LG (Model number: 27GL63T-B.AUS) as it was on sale for my new pc. However I was reading that 27 inch displays at 1080p are not worth it due to pixelation. I’m honestly not someone who really minds the small things and I’m upgrading from a 20 inch monitor that is from 2007 (1680x1050p 60hz). The majority of my usage will most likely be gaming and I’m honestly just looking for a bigger display that’s a little cleaner. Will this fit my needs or should I look for something else? Edit: Ended up buying it and its beautiful. Quite honestly do not see the "blurriness" or other things expected.
  9. Budget (including currency): $1100-1200 USD; looking to lower if possible Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming; Triple A games, esports games (League, valorant, etc) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nqBHmg So I was wondering if I needed an after market cooler if im not overclocking or doing anything extra with my components. I was also wondering if I could utilize a 550 watt power supply safely. I plan to play on a 1920x1080p 144hz monitor that I will buy and was thinking if I could make any changes that would make the build cheaper. I want it to be centered around the 2070 super but any suggestions/improvements that can help lower the price of the overall build can help. Thanks!
