  1. Added a new one. Sorry about that
  2. Other forums say minecraft players on vega 64 get 200+ FPS easily. Link is at the bottom. I just think it's odd my system can't seem to match that level. Don't think the problem is much with optimization because it seems to work for others. https://www.game-debate.com/low-vs-ultra-graphics-settings/1235-minecraft/3955-radeon-rx-vega-64-air-8gb#:~:text=In summary%2C the Radeon RX,Ultra will see 200%2B FPS.
  3. Sorry, what? The only way I could seem to get a good screenshot of the game was by recording it and then snipping the image later. NGL idk where my printscreen button is on this new keyboard.
  4. One of the problems with this is that Minecraft isn't showing up in my Radeon Software as a game. I can't set a game profile for it because it isn't there. When I try to add it, I struggle because minecraft has a launcher and I can't seem to add the application itself (i.e. the one that shows running in task manager). Regardless of the comparison, I get better FPS on an older laptop of mine so I expect better from this PC. Just trying to get it to run as intended
  5. Here's my screenshot if that helps
  6. Thanks, but I already tried adding more RAM (even though I don't use texture packs). I think this is definitely a GPU issue and not about memory allocation. I'll look into openGL though!
  7. The only reason I included the bit about Doom is to show that my graphics card can run other games just fine, just not Minecraft apparently. I know performance between the two is fairly independent. I just know that if my phone can run minecraft at 60+ FPS my computer should easily get above that as well. That's why I think it's something with the software, but I can't be sure what.
  8. Hi all, When trying to run minecraft java edition (vanilla), my computer is getting horrible fps (like 20-30) with a Vega 64. Running Doom Eternal on ultra gives me 120+, so I think something is wrong with my software setup or install. Things I see that might be problematic are: - The computer lists the device in Radeon software and device manager as a "Radeon RX Vega" and not Vega 64 - My GPU usage is extremely low when running minecraft. I don't even think it is leaving the first power state (0) like it should be for gaming (1-7 lights don't come on). Its also <12% usage in task manager The system seems to run fine for all other games and apps (i.e. 3D mark). I tried my best to uninstall radeon software before a reinstall and update. None of this seemed to help. Not really sure what is going on here so advice would be great. Thanks! 10. Yes. I was referring to RTC as the "Real Time Clock" RAM in CMOS (as per the user manual). I disconnected wall power and even pulled the battery of the board in the process of resetting it. Still presented the same issue
  11. Hi all, I've had my current computer for two years now. Today after trying to install a new nvme drive, my system will no longer post. All fans spin up and the mobo has power, but the red Q LED light for the CPU will not turn off. I'm worried I may have killed my cpu while moving around my mobo to insert the new drive. I've tried clearing the RTC ram but that did not seem to work. I also tried an old 1050Ti and moving my ram around, but none of that seemed to help. CPU power cable is seated just fine so I have no idea what changed. Did I accidentally kill my CPU or mobo? System Specs: R5 2600 x470i Strix 16GB GSkill DDR4 Sapphire Vega 64 Evga G3 650
