Hello Community of PC Builders, There really is no Budget limit for me and I already have all the parts ordered (but easily returnable if someone strongly sways my mind to something else). I must point out that I am upgrading from generally good parts already. The whole point to me selecting a lot of these parts was because I wanted the PC to look majority white with customizable RGB. I know a decent amount about building PC's, however this will be my first solo built PC and I am open for tips and/or suggestions on anything (whether its about building it or different parts). Also just a heads up I have yet to order a GPU but I will explain that afterward. Here is a parts list of what I have ordered:
CASE: NZXT H510 Elite (WHITE)
CPU: Ryzen 3900x
Motherboard: Asus Prime X570-Pro
CPU cooler: Corsair H100I RGB Platinum SE
Memory: 2x G.Skill Trident Z Royal Silver 32GB DDR4-3600 (64GB TOTAL)
PSU: Corsair RMx 850 W 80+ Gold Fully Modular ATX
Case Fan #1 and #2: -Corsair LL120 (WHITE) No node controller.
SSD: 2x Samsung 970 Evo 1TB M.2
HDD: 4TB Western Digital
GPU: (From my old PC) Asus GTX 1080Ti
Now here is where I explain my choices. I chose the H510 Elite because it displays a lot of rgb having 2 window panels in the front and side and it is white. The CPU, I just went for what is currently top notch and I didn't feel like there was a point in getting a Ryzen 3950x. The motherboard is a little odd because I just needed an ATX AM4 motherboard that was white and this was practically the only one (from what I've searched for). Fun fact, for the CPU cooler I was originally going with the z63 from NZXT. But I decided that I cared a lot about the front of the case (where I am mounting the radiator) to be white, so I stuck with the H100i RGB Platinum. The memory was chosen just because it looks really nice in the case. I don't know much about PSU's and I know that I definitely don't need an 850W but I just went with it because I don't have a budget really. The case fans I wanted to be corsair as well because I want to control most of the rgb all on the same software. The GPU is what I am wondering about the most, because I care a lot about competitive gaming and I know I could get a 2080Ti (white or silver coloring) but I'm just wondering if it's worth it. The reason I say this is because I've been hearing rumors about the 3080 series being right around the corner. So I am thinking I might as well just wait for that. What do you guys think about this decision? Also, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on the build or alternative parts. Also here is a picture of what I want it to kind of look like.
