this will set u up for the above mentioned tasks , but getting a r7 3700x is more recommended by me since u r into some professional work ( extra 200$ tho)  , but the ryzen 5 3600 is an amazing processor , the case is your personal choice and if u want u can spend some extra bucks to get 32 gb ram and the 5700xt is equal to a rtx 2070s which costs an extra 200 $

Added an AIO cpu cooler which is pretty much very rare price for the price the fans runs on 650-2000rpm and has 6-30 dbls , removed the ssds and added a 2tb hdd and an NVME ssd with DRAM CACHE ,1 tb ssd is actually pretty much enough for a consumer . added an extremely good psu and dint touch the case since its personal choice and u dint need RGB , but i would say a better case might be cooler master TD500 Mesh or Fractal design Meshify (doesnt have RGB btw), changed the gpu to a gigabyte 2080s which has the exact same specs but 100$ cheaper

its roughly a bit more on price but better performance overall , the price of the current gpus will go down by a significant number after august 30th so wait till then before buying the gpu , this build is really good for future upgradability, u can save some money by getting a cheaper psu , this was one the good options for the price , so i chose it .... you can choose your own case too , and i dont think the ssd will be enough for 4k editing , if u want add a 2 tb hdd

this is pc is gonna be more than enough for 1440p gaming , if u want more bang for your buck pc , i would recommend a rx 5700 xt gpu , also included an aio liquid cooler , if u also want to include a monitor in the price , just get a 5700 xt and get a 10600k

for sure , for your wallets safety , no need to get a godlike mobo , something like a msi b550 gaming plus/msi b550 tomohawk ......get a better speed ram instead and  since u r gonna be getting rtx 3080 down the road , UNLESS u r getting the first shipment ....... it will take around 1- 2 months for them to be back on stock , so waiting for the 4000 series amd chips  / 11th gen intel chips to release might be a better idea

alirafi321 reacted to AndreiArgeanu in EVGA W1 500W power supply. Not as bad as people make it out to be. 1 year review
1 year ago I was making myself a cheap build and I was looking to get a power supply since the 240W included in the Optiplex I got wasn't enough. I looked and found the EVGA W1 500W, a pretty cheap power supply at the time. Asking around the forum about it, most people say it's, bad, crap and what not, and I wouldn't have got it if it weren't for a great deal I got locally. I ended up getting the PSU for 10£ brand new in box with wrapping and everything.

And I installed it in a system with a GTX 770 and i5-3570(not exactly low power component). And 1 year later I haven't encountered any issues with the power supply. It has worked perfectly since I got it, no weird noises, no blue smoke, no sparks and no instability, and it still continues to serve me well to this day.

I'm not exactly surprised to see that products aren't as bad as people make them out to be, but it really goes to show how easily people can be misled by the Tier Lists on the forum.
