The HX is generally not worth the premium unless the system will spend a significant amount of time with heavy loads. That said, some are willing to pay the premium as a contribution to energy use reduction.

Check pricing of RMX, it is sometimes fairly close in price and is better.

    Good info, thanks.
I don't like the idea of stressing a PSU at borderline and I think this PSU is about 6+ years old so perhaps I should just upgrade to a nice 850w and sell the 650w combined with the original case, mobo, cpu, ram, cooler.

I'll have a look at that link 👍

I misremembered the maximum, it's actually 190W. Also here the package power while encoding with x264:

So you can have some idea of the performance penalty of lowering the power limit, there's a nice post on TechPowerUp forum showing the 12700K in different power limits in Blender.
    https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/intel-core-i9-12900k-alder-lake-tested-at-power-limits-between-50-w-and-241-w.289572/page-4#post-4726291
Important to note that some software might be more impacted than others and there might be differences between individual CPUs, so you should do your own testing if you decide to do it.

    It's a bit borderline.
And the XFR 650w is XFX 650W? or what model? It probably is.
    Theoretically it should all work.

The PSU should be fine. Very high demands reported for Alder Lake CPU generally require removal of power limits. It's difficult to recreate the conditions in normal use.

I would mess around with it. Intake is most likely better with the set up you have.

Taking the covers off would probably help airflow, but just another thing to mess around with! have fun!

It'll probably still run at 85C, but it'll boost higher.

Nope, that's what I'd expect that card to run at, and it's perfectly fine. Nvidia cards run at ~84C at all times and adjust frequency and voltage to keep it there. Unless it's getting above 90C, it's running at Nvidia spec and perfectly safe.

Your temps aren't actually (too) high, but yes adding another fan in the slot by you PSU will help get fresh air to your GPU. Clean up them cables too, try to make the path as unhindered as possible. That should force all the air out the back of the case.

ok I'll install another fan and clean up the PSU cables.
Would be nice the run the GPU at a few degrees cooler.

JayEee got a reaction from sloniupl in What's the best wireless keyboard?
Tried lots of keyboards, my favorite is the Logi MX keys, it is a membrane keyboard but the feel is VERY nice and super quiet (good for streaming), I prefer it to mechanical keyboards. Great for games IMO, short throw and great feel.
1/4 more expensive than 25000 HUF, but IMO it is worth the extra cost  .. and it'll probably last way longer than other keyboards due to the quality.
The only thing I don't like is the mixed MacOS key printing on the ALT and START keys, I wish they would separate the Windows and Mac worlds and provide extra keys that are specific to Windows or Mac. The "Opt" and " Cmd" printing continues to confuse me during use. I guess I could just grab a black marker and draw over the MacOS printing lol

First thing that came to mind before viewing this post is the PSU being underrated.
I think you should invest in a decent 750w PSU.

RAM could also be an issue, perhaps run Memtest (memtest.org) to check RAM stability.
If Memtest is failing, try dropping down the performance of the RAM to standard/relaxed speeds in the BIOS.

Aussie steam download servers are currently having issues... less than 1/20th of the speed for me. 400KB/s vs 11000 KB/s.

Solution: Change your region in Steam-> Settings -> Downloads to "New Zealand" to bring it back up to max speed.

But you should be able to 120mm aio maybe even a 240mm with some extra work.

This is most likely something you'll have to build custom.  Because there's little demand for a design like this, we and other manufacturers of TV mounts are unfortunately not able to make it for a reasonable cost.  A custom manufacturer might be able to put one together for you, but it will likely be a lot higher than your budget allows.
