  1. I got the cable today, tried it and still nothing. I tried it in my Asus Xonar DG and still nothing so i'm going to pick myself up a Sound Blaster Z because its got an optical in.
  2. The Xbox one has an optical output so i've just ordered a digital optical cable to see if that will help. I did try the microphone port but i didn't get any sound at all.
  3. Yeah, i want to be able to use both at the same time. What sort of hardware would i need?
  4. I can plug the headset into the Xbox but i then can't get audio for anything on my PC. Also i double checked and the cables plugged into the line in (light blue) on my mobo. I've got a spare sound card that i could try, that might provide a solution.
  5. Hi, I'm trying to connect an Xbox One to my speakers, however i need it to go through my PC so that i can use my USB headset for audio as well. I've got the Xbox One plugged into a monitor through HDMI, with a cable running from the monitor to the "Line in" on my PC. The speakers are plugged into the front panel on my PC. The problem is that the audio comes through to the speakers, but there is no connection through the PC software-wise. When i set the headset to be the default playback device, the Xbox stills plays through the speakers, which makes me think its in pass-through mode maybe? Is there any way to get the audio to run through windows so i can change which is the default playback device from there? Thanks in advance.
  6. The .exe doesn't have any drivers for the chipset. It gives me these options and that's it. The ones that are greyed out are already installed.
  7. That's the problem, i've tried downloading the sata drivers, but it doesn't give me any way to install them. and those speeds are best case scenario, after defragging for just under two days the drives i'm using are all plugged into the native sata3 ports. The secondary controller is for the eSata ports on the back only.
  8. I've been trying to update the firmware for my motherboard due to getting poor transfer rates on my drives. The board is a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 REV 1.1 with the latest BIOS (F10e) and i can't figure out how to do it. I've downloaded the driver from the website, it gives me a bunch of files that don't have anything to do with the chipset. Any help? The speeds below are what i'm currently getting on a WD Black 1TB running windows 7 64-bit Read signature for full specs.
  9. Raspberry Pi's are good and all, but i think this may be a tad better
  10. This would be pretty cool to win, only problem being that it'd probably end up being left in the box for ages. Still, i'd probably use it for my main rig.
  11. Looking great so far. Are you going to be painting it as is or maybe try powder coating?
  12. I have to say the fans on this one. They look nice and if they're anything like the name suggests, they should be pretty good as well, especially in a silent build.
