  1. Yeah, sry, i just didn't want to open up yet another thread for what is basically still the same problem. I'll just get the board back to the store to get a replacement or get it checked there
  2. So, the sata started working miraculously over night, now only the ethernet port is not working. It blinks orange once when i start the pc and shows up in the device manager, any ideas? Edit: its an intel I211
  3. So i already had tried another sata cable and the pins seem fine to me. Standoffs were installed and except for 1 standoff missing because i couldnt find a 9. one installed correctly as far as i can judge. Also as i pulled it out of the case again I'd had to fry the lan and sata connections specifically because they're still not working while everything else does.
  4. Thats my 3. time asking for help with this new pc for yet another problem. My last problems were fixed after i bought a new mobo and found a faulty ram stick. At that point everything was outside the case so i can properly work on it. I did extensive testing and benchmarks and even though the results weren't amazing due to the one single channel 8gb 2400mhz stick it was stable. So i put everything inside the case, went to bed and let everything sit over night. This morning i hooked it up to the cables in my office, turned it on only to find out that my lanport and my hdd connection magically stopped working over night. So i pulled everything out of the case yet again, for the 3. time in 3 days and the problems are still there outside the case and i don't know how to handle all this shit this pc gives me. Ryzen 3 3300x Asus rog strix b450-f gaming Asus rog strix rx 470 4gb gpu Thermaltake hamburg 530w psu Crucial 1x8gb 2400mhz ram 1x1tb hdd for games Hope anyone has an idea why it stopped working so suddenly
  5. So, if someone wants an update, it wasn't the psu and it also wasn't the motherboard, it was one faulty ram stick which i apparently didn't notice because i was stupid enough to put in the same stick twice when testing the ram, so jei me, have a nice day yall^^
  6. @IC4 ok, thank you very much, I'll see what i can find around where i live, hopefully that will fix the problem and its not the mobo after all^^
  7. @TofuHaroto what kind of brand would you recommend to get then? Corsair? Silverstone?
  8. @jonnyGURU but 500w should be enough for thar system right? Or should i get more?
  9. @jonnyGURU oh yeah, im very sorry, i forgot the list: Ryzen 3 3300x (stock cooler) Aorus b450 elite (ryzen 3000 series rdy) Asus strix rx470 4gb Thermaltake hamburg 530w psu Intenso 120 gb sata m.2 ssd 1x hdd (old boot drive, now disconnected since it caused the problems to start again) I'm currently testing it outside of the case, so there is no rgb garbage installed I also got a monitor, mouse, keyboard and lan plugged in and had a selfmade windows install media usb, but that may only be responsible for the problems with windows, I don't know
  10. I upgraded my system with new cpu, mobo, ram and an m.2 ssd. I put it together outside the case, got to bios, put it in, got to bios, tried to boot from my old hdd to windows and everything stopped working, no output to any peripherals, the Mainboard shows a red led with vga. I tried reseating the card, replugging everything, clr cmos, tried it with different components in and out, only thing that got it to work was pulling the power, wait for a few min, plug it back in. I left it over night, next day pulled all components out of the case, put it back together outside, worked like a charm, on every restart to the bios. Tried booting to windows from the hdd, problem is back, unplugged hdd, problem is still there, finally got windows installed on the ssd after replugging the power. Cant install drivers because edge doesnt work and its the only browser on newly installed windows, the windows update gives me error code 0x80070570 even though windows says theres nothing wrong with the ssd, the files on the ssd and no results on troubleshooting the windows updates. Has anyone any idea why the tech gods hate me so much and how i can fix anything or maybe what the problem could be?
  11. @TofuHaroto seems like its not the hdd, its unplugged and i got windows installed on the ssd now, still, everytime i turn it off, be it from Windows or a hard cut it has the vga problem, is it possible that the psu is the problem even when it works fine once i get it started?
  12. @HM-2 so as i said i bought a new m.2 ssd, but installed it in the wrong slot because i thought both slots support sata and so it didnt get recognised. After the last problems i disconnected power completely for about 10-20 minutes and it started working again, until i put the ssd in the right spot, now its stuck on vga again. Is there a possibility of the mobo having issues with any drive connected or did i just fry the ssd with putting it in the wrong slot? Edit: as it only turns back on after i turn it off for a few minutes (i tested that now multiple times) could it be a broken psu or is that unlikely?
  13. @TofuHaroto i mean, that does sound logical, but the hdd worked fine for like 4 years now in my old system, so i dont know why it doesnt now
  14. @TofuHaroto so sorry to bother you once more, but i got some new information and was hoping you might have another idea based on that. So, i pulled all the stuff back out of the case, put everything together on the mobo box and it worked completely fine with no problem, i restarted a few times got to the bios everytime. The only things disconnected were my case and the hdds. So then i tried plugging in my old boot drive, because i thought i had to get to windows to install the drivers for the ssd, as it was not found last time i tried to install windows. It got stuck on the aorus logo with the loading symbol below loading for about 5 min before i decided to power down and restart. After the restart the problem was back, no output to peripherals, vga light on, any idea maybe?
  15. @TofuHaroto i mean, i got it today so at the least i can send it back with amazon return. Thank you so much again for your time!
