I asked on this forum a few hours ago for someone to recommend me a laptop. Some very nice people helped me and suggested a few but most of them were above my price point.. (I was going for around $1200CDN) One of the recommendations was a Dell XPS 15. I thought it looked like a cool laptop. Then I looked at the price. Im just used to windows, but i could give it a go. And depending on the software, macs usually gets updates first? Macs makes me self concious for some reason?? Was hoping if someone could recommend me a new laptop... Budget: 1200$ CAD But if there's a really good laptop that's really worth it and I should save up a bit, I'll try. I'll use it for 1080p video editing, simulations, 3D modeling (CAD Blender), art and for school. I'd rather it be pretty big. I don't have a PC at home so all the work I have will go here. So I don't mind it being bulky and noisy. The more rigid, the better. Color accuracy is a plus too. other info: Windows 1080p, 60hz? 16 GB ram 64 bit quad core processor A graphics card with at least 4gb ram Battery life 6hrs or more (Basically if it can run Blender with the recommended specs, I'm happy) I'm probably asking way to much for my price point i really wanted rtx ༼;´༎ຶ ۝ ༎ຶ༽ I don't really care about RGB/looks, comfort, audio, microphone, windows hello/ fingerprint scanner. I'm also not a fan of touchscreen. I'm planning on getting it on "back to school" sale unless it's already on sale or there's another sale. Tell me if there's anything else I should specify

One side wont make sound too. I think i need an upgrade! can someone help me choose a headphone that i can wear for long periods of time, wont break if i throw it, i dont know what nice audio sounds like, i've never had something to compare it with so anything would sound good probably (good audio..?), noise cancelling; nobody can hear my music and i cant hear them, i quite like long cords, but thats not top priority, maybe water resistant? my hair might be wet... my budget: 100$ CAD, but a couple of dollars over wont bother me i use headphones for voice chat (i dont care about mics tho), i listen to music and do some audio editing work at times. I also sometimes make music. i might use it for travel aswell thanks to anyone who would spent reading this :0 edit: i dont care about looks at all, just bang for the buck
