  1. Memtest comes out fine, thanks for the help, I’m gonna go replace the ssd and maybe buy a few case fans as well.
  2. I’ll do the memtest in a second, but I’m almost positive it’s the ssd. I just took out my old hard drive (Jesus Christ it’s so slow in comparison) and now it took me to a the mobo splash screen that says “getting devices ready 81%” in the typical Windows font. However I’ll still do the memtest just to be sure if the ram is fine.
  3. Yes, there was only one partition (there were 4 yesterday when my pc originally broke) and it had all it’s space available 226.5/226.5. Also yes, I went through troubleshoot and when I clicked reset my pc and the full reset button, it gave me an error. I can go to Canada computers to get a replacement on Tuesday because I kept all my receipts but I need to know which parts to return.
  4. I tried reinstalling it but it gave me an error saying Windows could not be installed on the storage. When I try to reset the SSD it gives me an error and says I can’t reset it. How do I run memtest if I don’t have access to my desktop?
  5. Update, didn’t work, windows said it was corrupted. Anything else I can do other than exchange the ssd?
  6. I held down my power button, then started it again. This caused the bios/windows to diagnose and start to repair disk errors. I’ll update you when it’s done.
  7. I cleared cmos and now it’s just stuck on the Asrock splash screen.
  8. I’m gonna do this in a sec, but I restarted my pc again and it got past the bios, but this time it insta crashed and gave me the error: Kernel_data_inpage_error should I still reset the cmos?
  9. So I made this computer yesterday, had no problems while using it for a full day, then this morning I left my computer on and it got the blue screen “CRTICAL_PROCESS_*something*”. When it rebooted it was very slow and things didn’t launch so I restarted again. Now my pc keeps going to bios automatically. any help?
  10. Fixed, double checked wires and forgot to plug in power cable for ssd. Thanks for the quick responses guys
  11. Forgot to include, it doesn’t show the SSD as an option to install windows onto.
  12. Hey guys, I have a 256 gb ssd that I want to install windows on, but with no hdd present except for one in my old computer. How do I install Windows 10 on my SSD? I already have the media creation on my USB. I’m using the asrock b450 steel legend if it matters.
