My original build includes: Intel Core i5-4590 Haswell Quad-Core 3.3 GHz LGA 1150 84W G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM ASUS Z97-A/USB 3.1 LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s My new compatible parts: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard Would changing to these parts require me to wipe and reset the memory of on my hard drive and SSD? Sorry I am not well versed with the hardware jargon its been a while. Thanks for any help.
