  1. Hello All! Firstly, let me apologize if this is the wrong space to ask this question as I am still new here and just getting used everything. That being said, I had a question regarding the following PCIe WiFi 6 card in particular, as well as PCIe WiFi 6 cards in general. https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Bluetooth-Ultra-Low-Archer-TX3000E/dp/B07ZV2CJL2/ref=psdc_13983711_t2_B07Y2MYK4N I was wondering if this card would be compatible with an old Optiplex 790 SFF motherboard? I can't find any reason why it wouldn't be, but I know things get weird with older tech (particularly some of the non-standard Dell items). If these types of cards are compatible, is the one listed above any good? If not, does anyone have any recommendations as to what a good one would be? My house is set up in such a way that it is not really possible for me to install the router in my office and I would love to see an increase in my internet speeds over using a usb dongle. The board now lives in a custom enclosure so space is not a concern with any options you all might have. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!
  2. Hello everyone! This is my first post as a part of this community, so forgive me if I violate any of the norms. My questions is pretty straight forward, I was wondering if it were possible to change the case and PSU of the Dell Optiplex 790 SFF. This is more of a passion project for me, and less of a necessity. I was thinking about building my own custom case (which would solve the issue of non-standard mounting points). In terms of the PSU however, I have read that Dell *may* switch up the ordering of the wiring on their boards, such that a standard atx connector (for the fanheader for example) may fry the board (or the fan?). I was wondering if anyone had experience in this area and could shed some light on to whether or not this is possible? Thanks so much in advance, and I am glad to be a part of this community!
