  1. that idle temp is fine considering what you mentioned the Wraith Spire is OK for mild overclocks or chips that can overclock on low voltage but I just tested about 6 coolers with my Ryzen 5 1600 and even a $35 single tower cooler was a solid improvement over the Spire
  2. Did you guys do any tests adding a webcam or other sources on top of the gameplay? I've been testing streaming with my 1700 using BF1 and it drops frames on the faster and veryfast preset unless I stream only gameplay (no webcam, chat, etc.) and that's at 720p60
  3. I'd go for the SeaSonic M12II 520W Bronze EVO Edition or Rosewill Hive 550W in that price range You'll have to pony up an extra $10 bucks or so if you want 600W+
  4. I like the P400 TG, I enjoyed building in mine
  5. I'd go for the Enthoo Pro M TG over both of those
  6. I know you already resolved your issue but there are B250 boards that come with more than one USB 3.0 header, for example the ASUS Strix B250F Gaming It costs about $130 though Anyway, as stated 1 header = 2 ports so it's not needed unless your case has 4 USB 3.0 ports
  7. The Riotoro CR1080 is one that comes to mind. It's not really "premium" but is a compact ATX case
  8. This is what I did with my overclocked XFX RX 470 And some benchmarks...
  9. FWIW, this build is done. Build pictures and video can been found unedited here and here
  10. Yes, I just referred to myself in the 3rd person lol What's up guys. I just wanted to start a build log on my PC as I finally move away from a budget build into a high-endish Z97 build. This will be primarily used for video editing, gaming and hopefully some GPU benchmarking. I'll be capturing my build and benchmark process on video for you guys to see but for now I wanted to post a few pictures of each component. <link removed> ^^^ In this video I talk about my reasoning for each part selection. Parts list is below: CPU - Intel Core i7-4790K CPU Cooler - be quiet! Dark Rock TF Motherboard - Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 5 RAM - 16GB HyperX Savage 1866MHz (2x8GB) Storage - 240GB HyperX Savage SSD Storage - 1TB Seagate Barracuda HDD GPU - MSI Radeon R9 290X Lightning PSU - be quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 850W PSU Extension Cables - Bitfenix Alchemy Black Case - Phanteks Enthoo Pro White Thanks to HyperX for supplying the RAM and be quiet! for providing the PSU! I will say, two things I wish I had for this build were a black mid-tower ATX case and full replacement cables for the PSU. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any help with that but I think the build should still come out pretty clean. What do you guys think of my part selection? Build video and pictures coming soon!
  11. Press the Select button on the amp until you see a red LED if you're using the Optical port on the back Also try connecting it to your motherboard directly without the soundcard to eliminate a possible variable
  12. What color are the LEDs on the amp? Does the device (Digital Out rather) show up if you right-click the speaker icon and select Playback Devices in Windows? <--make sure 'Show Disabled/Disconnected Devices' are not selected
  13. Plex for the backend Kodi for the front-end with PleXBMC plugin
