  1. It's a dead board from what ive discovered, called asus and im getting a replacement
  2. Im just about to give up at this point
  3. Basically yeah most of it was lying around, they were free parts from a company that had no use for them, or they ordered too many
  4. Did exactly what it said and still nothing, and the fans still arent spinning at all. All im getting is the RGB on the motherboard
  5. yes, i unplugged the power supply before i took the batter out
  6. yeah i found the battery, pulled it out for about 30 minutes and then put it back in, do i just start it up again and see if that changes anything?
  7. My past forum that people have since abandoned it seems like. I've done everything that's in the replies, I just reset the CMOS, took the battery out for about 30 minutes and then put it back in. Now, when turning on the system, the RGB on my motherboard lights up and stays lit up, my RGB RAM no longer lights up like it was before i took the motherboard back out of the case. My cpu cooler, gpu, and psu fans are not spinning when the system is powered on, before, when it was put together in the case, the power supply fan would spin for about 5 seconds and then stop. The Troubleshooting LED on my Mobo isnt lighting up either, and i dont hear and beeping from it as well. Please help me figure out what is wrong
  8. I found the CMOS battery, but no section on how to clear the CMOS
  9. Fan is plugged into CPU_FAN Changed the RAM slots so now its 2 and 4 And yes the GPU has its 6 pin plugged into it
  10. Turned the Power supply on, the rgb on the mobo lights up, the ram no longer lights up, none of the fans are spinning up (ie. cpu cooler, gpu, and psu), no display whatsoever either No noise from the motherboard, no little red dot or anything anywhere either Turned the power supply off after about 45 seconds because it didnt seem right
  11. Was used to my old computer having an APU so i didnt need a GPU for a while, just put the 1060 in the motherboard, now all i do is flip the power supply switch, right?
  12. Alright, i have the motherboard out, sitting on the mobo box, the cpu 8 pin cable plugged in, and the 24 pin plugged in, monitor plugged into the motherboard as well, using display port, is there anything else i need to do before i turn the power supply on?
  13. Not sure if this is common knowledge or not, but do i need to have a hard drive plugged in when i take the mobo out and start it up?
  14. and i was watching a linus build guide too... give me like 20 minutes and ill come back with what i get
  15. I probably should have done that, i got a little ahead of myself watching a build guide
