I'm running Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS on a Thinkpad E15 Gen 2 (AMD)
I installed Ubuntu yesterday, and I can't seem to change the brightness of my laptop screen. I've moved the adjustment bar in the top right a lot, but no change, and I also installed brightness-controller, but that didn't do anything either. This is pretty a big problem as it's draining my battery rather quickly :(
The screen also doesn't turn back once I've put it in lock mode. Pressing keys does nothing, neither does pressing the power button, so I just have to turn it off completely to get it to turn back on again.
Another issue is it won't lock when I close the laptop lid. I tried editing the config file that makes it lock when the lid is closed, but it was already set to lock the screen.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Is it a bad install of Ubuntu? Do I need some display drivers/software?
