  1. I have an AMD Ryzen 4500U and run Ubuntu 20.10. Do I need to download drivers for the integrated GPU, and if so where do I get them from?
  2. I'm running Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS on a Thinkpad E15 Gen 2 (AMD) I installed Ubuntu yesterday, and I can't seem to change the brightness of my laptop screen. I've moved the adjustment bar in the top right a lot, but no change, and I also installed brightness-controller, but that didn't do anything either. This is pretty a big problem as it's draining my battery rather quickly :( The screen also doesn't turn back once I've put it in lock mode. Pressing keys does nothing, neither does pressing the power button, so I just have to turn it off completely to get it to turn back on again. Another issue is it won't lock when I close the laptop lid. I tried editing the config file that makes it lock when the lid is closed, but it was already set to lock the screen. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is it a bad install of Ubuntu? Do I need some display drivers/software?
  3. Trying to run Kali from a VM How do I get passed this screen? I tried putting "Y", "accept" and things like that, but it just tells me that it's an invalid command and tells me "<my username>:~$ Anyone know how to fix this?
  4. Been looking to buy a new laptop, and since I've not bought one before, what kind of battery life is considered bad/average/good?
  5. So, on my family's computer I was doing some tidying of my desktop, putting the app shortcuts I didn't want back into their applications folders (instead of deleting them, but deleting them had the same effect). When I then went onto another user account, all the ones I had deleted had been deleted for everyone else! Does anyone know how would I remove the shortcuts from my desktop and no one else's?
