  1. So I recently just got a Dell Precision M4600, but it came with the AMD FirePro M5950, and whilst I plan to upgrade the graphics card to an Nvidia one, I still need to use the graphics atm, but I simply just cannot find the stupid drivers for the graphics card that actually work, and are up to date. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
  2. I'm a computational power user lol; I want as much ram as I can get for both gaming and other.
  3. So I'm in the market to purchase an Android phone, but I've always had an iPhone so I have pretty much no clue what I'm doing or what latest processor technology is. I have a list of what I want on this phone if anyone knows one that fits the bill. -The latest and greatest CPU you can get on an android phone, the newest snapdragon or whatever with 16GB of ram or whatever madness; the highest possible -Truly rectangular screen--no notches, pinholes, or even rounded corners. Like a desktop monitor. -High refresh rate of at least 120Hz, preferably 144Hz -Resolution of at least 1080p, preferably 1440p though, or even higher -Good cameras; front and back -Side fingerprint power button -Front facing speakers -High-Speed USB-C, like 5Gbps at the minimum, preferably more like 20Gbps -3.5mm headphone jack I don't know how reasonable or unreasonable this is or isn't, like I said, I've been using iPhones and iPod Touches all of my life, and all that I really know is that android phones seem to be waaaay more diverse than iPhones. If anyone knows any Android phones that fit most of, or even all of those requirements, please tell me :P
  4. So look, I want to get a new screen protector for my iPhone, specifically a matte, tempered glass, privacy one. But for some reason, they only exist for he iPhone XS and up and such. I have an iPhone 8. Does anyone know where I can find a link to this type of screen protector for the 4.7” iPhones??
  5. I’m currently taking a college class on PCB design, DC fundamentals, soldering, etc. and I wanted to put that knowledge that I’m (going) to get into a project. The project I wanted to make was a handheld ARM gaming system, similar to the RPi CM4 based Nintendo switch style console that whoever made.
  6. So I’m planning on making an ARM based device soon, and I was wondering if anyone knew what the most powerful ARMx64 processor to date is.
  7. Interesting. I'm located in the U.S.; and I know it's a longshot, but do you think you could send me the link?
  8. So my friend and I wanted to build a cute little portable gaming rig and whence researching I found what seems to be the smallest pc that supports a graphics card; at all--, buuut, the only issue is that it seems to be nonexistent in the real world. It's the Dell Optiplex 7090 MFF "Discrete". It's essentially just one of their little PC's but with space for a single slot half height graphics card. Literally the only two images that I can find of it, at all--are in the user manual. This begs the question--has anyone actually seen one before--held one? Does it actually exist? I was hoping that maybe someone in this community could help me solve this mystery. (One thing to note--before someone tells me to just; "Get the normal one and use integrated graphics", the point is to have dedicated graphics; and the best that I can get at that--a Quadro T1000. (Performance improvement also pictured via UserBenchmark.))
  9. aight thanks also i know that the cable is working because windows recognizes it as a usb hub and sees the controller, and they both go away when i unplug it
  10. AAAAAAAA ok so I just got an og xbox to usb controller adapter right but the driver is unsigned i have been at it for like 3 hours now if i try to do the startup settings thing or whatever the stupid menu just doesn't come up bye bye just straight into the login screen i log in still nothing WHY WHY WHY WHY I HAVE TRIED SO MANY DIFFERENT WORKAROUNDS TO TRY AND GET THIS STUPID DRIVER INSTALLED AND NOTHING WORKS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA pls help T^T
  11. So I have an ASUS H87M-PLUS, and it has a 20-1 TPM module connector, and I'm like 99% sure that the TPM module that I need is the TPM-L R2.0, it uses the same connector, and is TPM 2.0. The only problem is that one of these is like $120 for some reason. Like no-one has one pretty much, and anyone who does have one is trying to flip it for a lot since they're hard to find I guess. So my actual question, is can I use a different companies TPM module? Like I can get a Gigabyte one for like $20 rather than $120, it says it's TPM 2.0, uses the 20-1 connector, and even has a strikingly similar design, like the little IC looks to be both the same and in the same position. But will it work? Will it fry my motherboard or the TPM module? Will the BIOS even recognize it?
  12. So online I've found that you can actually buy 5.25" optical drives that support Blu-ray, HD-DVD, and LightScribe. I'd like to get one of these one day, but for the time being, I'm wondering if there is an internal, slim, slot-load optical drive that supports Blu-ray, HD-DVD. and LightScribe all in one for a laptop?
  13. Or can i at least get more wattage capability with this?
  14. So I'm going to be getting an older laptop soon (literally $0.25 so a pretty good deal), and it is a dell latitude e6510, which has up to 3 Mini PCIe slots, although the graphics are honestly absolute garbage (the DEDICATED graphics are an Nvidia NVS 3100M with 512 whole Megabytes of dedicated vram), and I know that you can connect a PCIe graphics card to a laptop through the wifi or card or any/most free Mini PCIe slots, and im currently thinking up a potential way to make that whole idea portable (not something ill be getting into right now), but my main question is: is there a way to combine multiple Mini PCIe slots to get more bandwidth? E.G. 1 mini pcie port is 2.5 Gb/s, so can i combine two ports to get 5.0 Gb/s, or even three ports to get 7.5 Gb/s ?
  15. So the application that flashes the bios from inside of windows extracts itself to an unknown location, does anybody know how force it so only be able to extract itself to 1 folder that I specify? It doesn't have that option once the application is started btw
